A romantic cafe with charming lighting that has been cherished in the Omotesando district for nearly 50 years. From the daily changing dessert selection, I chose the cold coffee jelly with a touch of ice. The delicate, slightly bitter jelly with the smooth vanilla ice cream is a simple yet delightful combination. The cherry-patterned cups and saucers are adorable, making me always opt for hot drinks. While smoking is allowed, which might be a concern for some, the spacious seating arrangement makes it less noticeable. Open until 11 pm, it's a great spot for a late-night cafe experience. ✄ -----What I ate----- ☑︎ Cappuccino (¥800) ☑︎ Coffee Jelly (¥600) ✄ -----Store Information----- 𓂃⃗ 2F, Murayama Building, 5-9-5 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo Card ⚪︎/ Electronic Money ⚪︎/ Cash ⚪︎/ Power Outlets ×/ Wi-Fi ×

I visited on June 30, 2024. This cafe is located on the second floor of a building south of Omotesando Station, near the station. It was almost full on the day I went, but I managed to snag a seat at the counter near the entrance. The interior was dark and had a retro, sophisticated bar-like feel. Despite being busy, the young staff were moving around briskly. I enjoyed a hot coffee and a rare cheesecake while taking a break. There was a nice notice about smoking on the counter. Apparently, this place is known for its 'Ore Glacé,' which is a specialty. The people next to me ordered it, and it looked delicious, so I'll have to try it next time.

A classic coffee shop. Their "Ore Glasse" is popular. In the past, they also had a location in the semi-basement halfway down Fire Street. Smoking is allowed. Their simple sandwiches are still delicious.

After having drinks in Aoyama, I visited this place for coffee and dessert. It closes at 11:00 PM, and I arrived around 10:00 PM, but even on a weekday, the shop was bustling. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the shop was very nice, and the coffee and pudding I ordered were delicious. My friend was eating a gateau chocolat that looked delicious, with a chocolate layer on top, a slightly unusual type, so I'd like to try it next time.

This coffee shop is located a 1-2 minute walk from Omotesando Station. It's a long-established coffee shop that has been around for over 40 years. It's said to be the birthplace of "Ore Grasse" and I'd been curious about it for a while. It's always crowded on weekends, so I'd been meaning to go. I visited on Sunday evening around 5 pm. There were 3-4 groups of customers waiting outside. After waiting for about 15 minutes, a seat happened to become available, and I was lucky enough to be seated ahead of the two people in front of me. The interior has counter seats and table seats. It has a slightly dark, retro-chic atmosphere. Smoking is allowed at all seats, so be careful if you can't stand smoke. Since I was there, I ordered the Ore Grasse. It cost 700 yen. Ore Grasse is a two-layered drink with a layer of coffee on top of a thick, sweet milk. You're supposed to drink it without mixing it. Overall, it's more like a sweet dessert drink, but the coffee on top goes well with it and it's delicious. The two-layered look is also nice. When asked what's good about having two layers, I can't really explain, but it's just nice.
