I visited this restaurant for the first time for a weekend lunch. It's conveniently located directly connected to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station, making it easy to find, especially if you're coming by JR. Just a heads-up, the entrance to the banquet hall and the restaurant entrance at Marunouchi South Exit are different. I initially went through the banquet hall entrance, but after exiting and looking around, I found a separate restaurant entrance. After descending the stairs to the basement, I was greeted by a quiet and serene space that felt unlike the typical Tokyo Station basement. There are several restaurants in this area. This particular restaurant seemed to have a counter, tables, and possibly private rooms. They offer a course menu with a selection of pasta and main dishes, which is great because you can choose what you like. All the dishes were of high quality and showcased seasonal ingredients. The portions were generous, making for a very satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back.
Located on the lower ground floor of the Tokyo Station Hotel, this casual Italian restaurant is tucked away and not easily found unless you're specifically looking for it. While it can be used as a wine bar, it maintains a sophisticated atmosphere befitting its location within a hotel. The service is impeccable, and the cuisine is authentic Italian.
My friend treated me to a birthday lunch 💕 The food was absolutely delicious! The appetizers were full of flavor and paired perfectly with wine. The pasta, though a small portion, had the perfect texture. The main course, a tender piece of meat topped with raisins and pine nuts, was a delightful combination. The only slight disappointment was the seating arrangement. Despite the restaurant's spacious layout and the fact that it was a weekday and not very crowded, we were seated next to a very chatty group of two women. As mentioned in other reviews, the staff's chatter near the empty wall space was quite noticeable.
We returned to this restaurant with my spouse on a national holiday in October 2024 and made a reservation for the lunch course. The space from the parking lot to the restaurant is like a VIP area, with a luxurious and glamorous setting, truly golden. The restaurant is located at the very back, with more than five hall staff members, providing exceptional service. The meal began with a celebratory champagne, followed by appetizers and a choice of main courses. This course had one more dish than the previous time. Everything was delicious without a doubt. I forgot to take a picture of the last dessert, which was panna cotta, coffee, nuts, and chocolate. Our stay was about two hours. The celebratory champagne was delicious, with a cool taste, color temperature, and glass engraving. The appetizers were flavorful and substantial, including a cold soup with a chicken flavor. The pasta was hot and flavorful, with a choice of beef or Kajiki. The main course was also hot, with a choice of meat or fish. The pork was cooked perfectly, tender yet chewy, with a pink hue, and the sauce was truly delicious with various beans. The fish was sea bream, with crispy skin and a perfect saltiness, grilled to the level of Japanese cuisine. The punchy sauce was a perfect match for the white fish. The focaccia was refilled several times. The last course was a dessert with Italian flavors, including a pudding ice cream mousse and baked goods. Was there a pastry chef? It was a hotel-made dessert. The quality was as expected from an Italian restaurant at the Tokyo Station Hotel, but the lunch course was reasonably priced. There was an incident, but the manager, with his exceptional eloquence, and all the staff were very attentive and responsive. This was our couple's impression.
This restaurant is located in the basement of the Tokyo Station Hotel. We reserved a private room for our dining experience. The quality of the food was excellent. However, the pacing of the dishes was a bit slow, which was disappointing. We ended up staying for about three hours. Nevertheless, overall, I would definitely consider dining here again.
