April 2024 (Holiday) ① Rum Raisin & Basque Cheesecake ¥1200 (Event Price) ② Three Kiwi & Melon ¥1200 (Event Price) 15:55 Arrival, 2nd in line 16:15 Entry 16:25 Ice Served This place had been on my "must-visit" list for a while, but their opening days are irregular, so it was hard to find the right time. Finally, I made it! For my first shave ice, I chose the Rum Raisin & Basque Cheesecake. The thick syrup on top had a lovely rum raisin aroma. The mysterious candy on top (lol) was crunchy and provided a nice textural contrast. In the middle was coffee jelly, almost completely unsweetened, which was refreshing. At the bottom was berry honey, with a strong raspberry flavor, which also had a wonderful aroma. As I ate, the flavor transitioned from rich to refreshing, which was a perfect balance that I loved. For my second shave ice, I had the Three Kiwi & Melon. The top was piled high with three different types of kiwi, making it visually stunning, and it tasted just as good. The base was mint milk. I'm not a huge fan of mint, but I decided to order it as is. It turned out to be a good choice! The mint wasn't artificial, so there was no tingling sensation, just a pleasant coolness that added a nice touch. It was delicious! If all shave ice places offered this mint milk base, I'd order it every time (lol). Inside was green melon syrup, pomegranate vinegar yogurt, and blueberry honey. And since it was almost closing time, they gave me some leftover red melon syrup as a bonus ♡ This shave ice also had amazing flavor transitions as I ate it. Both shave ice creations were incredibly well-composed, meticulously crafted masterpieces. The owner was also very kind and gentle, and I instantly became a huge fan of this place. I'll definitely come back whenever I have the chance ♡
The owner is the only one who shaves the ice, but the shaved ice is delicious. It's layered and quite large. Payment is cash or PayPay. It's a shared space, so the hours seem to include the time it takes to pack up. They mentioned they might change how they announce their hours in the future. I went on a weekday, so there was no wait and I got my ice right away. They have irregular hours, so I'd like to go again if the timing works out.
I visited around 3 PM on a weekday and was able to eat without waiting. Different types of fruits appeared as I ate, making it enjoyable until the last bite.
