A long-established Russian restaurant in Asakusa. I visited for lunch this time. I chose their famous cabbage rolls from the selection of lunch menus. The cabbage rolls here are cooked for days, and as expected, they melt in your mouth and disappear in an instant, so well-cooked they are. The homemade bread served in the restaurant is even more delicious when dipped in the sauce. The salmon appetizer was also very fresh and delicious with herbs, and the borscht soup was hearty with chunks of vegetables. The Asakusa area is one where new shops open all the time, but many struggle to attract customers and close down quickly. Only the delicious and beloved shops survive. I think this long-loved restaurant is a sure bet.
The dinner course starts at ¥5,000, and I chose the famous rolled cabbage for my main dish. The appetizers and the pot-baked dish were delicious, but the rolled cabbage's minced meat filling was dry and not to my liking. The owner and staff were very kind and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely like to visit again.
I used to work at Manos in Akasaka a long time ago! I had a meal at Manos in Asakusa, and it brought back so many memories. The food was delicious! Thank you to the owner for coming to our table to greet us! I will definitely come back again when I visit Asakusa! Thank you for the wonderful meal! 🤗
The soup was a bit bland. The cabbage rolls were delicious. The Russian coffee and tea were also good.
As expected of a long-established famous restaurant, everything is delicious. Especially the shrimp potato croquettes, scallop gratin, and the roll cabbage are exceptional. 😉 However, as it's an old-fashioned Russian restaurant, the prices are a bit high, so be prepared for that. 👍 Also, it's a popular restaurant, so it's best to make a reservation, especially for dinner.
