2024/8/XX (Take Out) I tried the bakery at "Andersen", which is known for its premium line and commitment to using domestic wheat. Ginza Matsuya's basement floor is a hub for delicious bakeries, so this was my first time trying this one. Here's what I bought: ■ "Kitano Kaori" Cheese Bread @389 yen (tax included) ---This is a Matsuya Ginza exclusive. The soft, chewy dough paired with the rich cheese was a perfect combination. I added honey to make it a quattro formaggi style, which was delicious. ■ Dark Cherry @368 yen ---A classic Andersen item. This is a flaky Danish pastry with custard cream, marzipan, and a touch of sweetness from the dark cherries. A truly exquisite treat. ■ "Nuskonpenhagener" @335 yen ---The filling is a mix of walnuts, caramel, raisins, honey, etc., and the pastry is a flaky, crispy pie crust. It was delicious. While the quality of the bread is good, the price might be a bit of a hurdle. I also received a sample of their sourdough bread, which had a wonderful aroma and was delicious. The service was kind and friendly. Rating: 3.37 (Food: 3.4, Value: 3.3) Reference: Service: 3.5

I enjoyed a takeout order! They use domestic wheat and offer a wide variety of breads, from savory to sweet, making it a delightful experience just to browse. The melon pan had a vanilla flavor that paired perfectly with the bread, with a crispy exterior and a chewy interior. It was delicious. They also have seasonal limited-time items, so I plan to visit regularly.

Located a 5-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station, this bakery is situated on the basement food floor of Matsuya Ginza. This brand is operated by the long-established bakery "Andersen" and, as of November 2023, only has this one location at Matsuya Ginza. I purchased the following breads: - Kitano Kaori Cheese French (with Jalapeño) (¥399) - Geihoku Apple Cream Bread (¥324) - Rum Raisin French (¥335) - Grain Bread with Currywurst (¥475) 【Kitano Kaori Cheese French (with Jalapeño) (¥399)】 While cheese French bread is common, the addition of jalapeño is unusual. The jalapeño pairs well with the cheese, and the mayonnaise adds another layer of flavor, making it a bread that could be enjoyed as an appetizer. The spiciness is quite strong, so it might not be suitable for those who don't like spicy food, but it's highly recommended for those who do. 【Geihoku Apple Cream Bread (¥324)】 It seems they were having an apple fair, as there were various apple breads available. The smooth custard cream with a hint of fresh cream is enhanced by the sweetness of the Red Delicious apples, making it delicious. The bread itself has a relatively firm texture, and with a slight change in the dough, it could easily become an apple tart. 【Rum Raisin French (¥335)】 This is a soft French bread filled with milk cream containing rum raisins. It's quite filling. 【Grain Bread with Currywurst (¥475)】 The thick sausage with its rich meaty flavor pairs well with the crunchy texture of the bread. However, it's a bit pricey. ----- There's a wide variety of breads to choose from, so I think it's fun to explore the options. Thank you for the meal.

Andersen's sake kuchen is insanely delicious! It's displayed around the register, so it's easy to miss. The sake-soaked dough is too messy to eat with your hands. The sake aroma just bursts out. If you don't like sake, you won't like this. Is sake kuchen not Andersen's best product? I absolutely love it!!! Andersen's bakery chain is a great place with a sense of dedication. Their bread for meals is delicious. This time, I took out a banana muffin. It's very sweet. It's moist and chewy, a texture I like. Since it's sweet, it's perfect with unsweetened yogurt. I'm curious about the sake castella near the register. Next time.

A popular brasserie in Ginza Matsuya! Located a 2-minute walk from Ginza Station, I visited "Bread Story Ginza Matsuya Store." It's on the B2 floor of Ginza Matsuya. I arrived before 12 pm on a Sunday, and the store was quite crowded. The checkout was smooth. I bought a domestic wheat hot dog for 320 yen and a curry bread for 270 yen. The hot dog sauce was a Napolitan-style with bacon, onions, ketchup, etc., and it went well with the sausage bun. It was delicious. The curry bread also tasted like a coffee shop curry, and it was delicious. I enjoyed it all the way to the end.
