I visited Centrel The Bakery Aoyama, a bakery that has been recognized as one of the top 100 bakeries in Japan, located a 3-minute walk from Exit B2 of Omotesando Station. I arrived around 2 pm and there was no line, so I was able to enter smoothly. This is a takeout-only store with only three types of bread on the menu: ✔︎ Square Bread ✔︎ Pullman ✔︎ English Bread I took home the following: - Square Bread ¥1080 I immediately enjoyed it at home, and it came with instructions on how to eat it. It seems that eating it without toasting is recommended, so I tried one slice. The aroma of wheat filled the air as I took it out of the bag. The bread was fluffy and very chewy, and even the crust was delicious. It would also be delicious toasted or as French toast. There is also a Ginza branch with an eat-in space, so I plan to visit there as well. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I usually buy at the Ginza store, but I stopped by the Aoyama store and was able to purchase without waiting in line. There is no eat-in area. Unfortunately, the price has gone up. With other high-end bread shops like Nogami and Nishikawa disappearing one after another, I hope this place doesn't go away!

As you step inside, the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air, instantly whetting your appetite. Their renowned milk bread is particularly noteworthy, boasting a crispy exterior and a fluffy, soft interior that will leave you craving more. Croissants and Danish pastries are also highly recommended. Their flaky texture and rich buttery flavor will tantalize your taste buds, offering a luxurious experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides detailed explanations and recommendations, making it easy for even first-time visitors to navigate the selection. Saint-Germain The Bakery, Aoyama Branch 🍞 British Loaf - ¥900 I previously bought a shokupan (square loaf) at the Ginza branch, so this time I got a yamagopan (mountain loaf)! The baking pan is the same, but the difference is whether or not you put a lid on it. Shokupan traps moisture well, so it's chewy, while yamagopan stretches vertically, so it's fluffy. I can't wait to eat it! I brought it home as a gift! First, I tried it without toasting. It's so chewy, it's like mochi (Japanese rice cake)! It's amazing! It's also incredibly sweet, and delicious on its own. When you toast it, the surface gets so crispy, it's like it's been deep-fried! It's amazing, and the aroma of wheat explodes. It's truly the best!

One of the famous high-end bread shops, Cent's The Bakery Aoyama store ✨ While the Ginza store is a popular spot with lines every day, the Aoyama store is only for takeout, making it a hidden gem where you can buy bread without much waiting. ✨ Square loaf (¥1,080) This bread is heavy and substantial, with a chewy texture and a satisfying crispness. It has a lovely sweetness and a rich wheat flavor that I really enjoy. I prefer this type of bread over overly sweet or soft loaves. With a whole loaf, I enjoyed it plain, with matcha an-butter, and even used it as a bowl for a luxurious curry, tearing off pieces to eat. I also made sandwiches with it, making the most of it. ✨ The strong flour, Yumechika, from Biei, Hokkaido, is known for its high protein content and strong gluten, which results in a bread with a springy texture and good volume. ✨ It's delicious both plain and toasted, and its rich flavor makes it my favorite type of bread. ✨
