I've used this restaurant for business dinners. It has private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal in a quiet atmosphere. The food is excellent, with a variety of elaborate dishes served over a period of about three hours. However, the service could be improved. It would be helpful to have a call button or something similar, as ordering drinks was a bit inconvenient. Despite the cost, which was around 30,000 yen per person including drinks, it's a delicious restaurant.
A kaiseki course with a well-balanced selection of nutritious ingredients and generous portions. The highlight is definitely the bento box served at the end, along with freshly cooked white rice. It was all absolutely delicious! I devoured everything. I'm so glad I was born Japanese. I'll definitely be back.
This is a superb kaiseki restaurant featuring charcoal-grilled sirloin. The atmosphere is lively, and the teamwork between the attentive head chef and the briskly moving staff is refreshing. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing the background preparation. The saltiness is mild, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, the value for money is excellent. The menu features a wide variety of seasonal ingredients. With plenty of private rooms, it's perfect for business dinners, girls' nights out, and other occasions. The desserts are also elaborate. It's great that solo diners are welcome. Cash is recommended for lunch payments. Leftover rice cooked in a traditional kamado (clay oven) is offered as a takeaway onigiri (rice ball). It's packed with chirimen sansho (tiny dried anchovies with sansho pepper) and delicious even when cold. You can choose between meat or fish for the main course, which is a nice touch. Personally, I find the charcoal-grilled meat irresistible. Just having that makes it feel like the best value for money.
The food was even better than I expected. The value for money is excellent for this price. I chose this restaurant because it was close to the station and convenient for my schedule, and it was truly a great choice. They served seasonal ingredients, and they had a selection of rare sake, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The service of allowing guests to take home any leftover rice was a thoughtful touch. The rice itself was packed with ingredients. From start to finish, everything was truly delicious. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to restaurant. I honestly want to visit every month. The head chef even went out of his way to see us off at the stairs as we were leaving the elevator, which was very kind. The location is also easy to find. It truly exceeded my expectations for the price.
On a weekday evening at 6:30 PM, I had a rare business dinner here with a supplier. I had left the reservation to them, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a Hyakumeiten (a restaurant on a list of 100 famous places) that I hadn't visited yet! 😊 It was likely the "Selected Wagyu Sirloin Charcoal Grilled" course. There was a parade of diverse ingredients, including whitefish, scallops in mochi flour, grilled sweet sea bream, pufferfish, Aomori halibut, Miyagi saury, and, of course, the charcoal-grilled sirloin. Everything was delicious! ^_^ The staff's attentiveness to our drinks was just right, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♪
