The two-Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant is surprisingly affordable! Located a 3-minute walk from Ginza Station, I visited "Suriola," a Spanish cuisine establishment that has won the BRONZE AWARD in the "100 Best Spanish Restaurants." I made a reservation for Sunday at 12:00 PM. I ordered the lunch standard course for 12,000 yen. Every dish by Chef Seiichi Honda is impeccable in both appearance and taste! The sea bass empanada, in particular, was exceptional. The crispy crust encased tender sea bass, perfectly cooked. It was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed every bite of the meal. 【Today's Menu】 ⓪ Bekeijo (sweet pepper) waffle, black olive fried bread ① 3 types of tapas (sweet shrimp, octopus, anchovy) - The sweet shrimp was incredibly delicious! - The anchovy was served with a sauce and a green pepper Rye bread and smoked butter - This rye bread and smoked butter are delicious! I could eat them every day. ② White squid tartare and squid broth crema with lemongrass aroma - The combination of the rich squid broth and tartare is exquisite. The squid ink chips add a textural accent. ③ Domestic beef tail "bikini" and grilled eel - "Bikini" refers to a sandwich. The fragrant eel and bread pair surprisingly well with the beef tail. ④ Sea bass empanada with olive oil and lemon sauce - The sea bass is filleted into three pieces and layered before being fried. ⑤ Grilled milk lamb with goat milk tripe Seafood arroz caldo (complimentary) - Spanish-style rice porridge ⑥ Japanese pear and chacoli jelly ⑦ Homemade chocolate and after-dinner drinks I'm looking forward to trying the dinner course with wine pairing next time.

I was invited to dinner at a Spanish restaurant recommended by a friend! This was my first time having a full Spanish course, so I left it up to my friend to order. (*´∇`*) We started with finger foods that weren't on the menu, and the Basque cuisine was delicious, like a blend of Italian and French flavors! The most memorable and delicious dish was the main course, duck. The meat was so tender and went perfectly with the sauce! I love duck! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ The wine was flowing, but my friend doesn't drink much... and she had to go to work afterwards. 。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 The bread was also delicious and went well with everything! Every dish was unique and truly Spanish! It was all so delicious! Next time, I'll come when I can drink without worrying! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ Thank you for the meal!

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for about 10 years, ever since I heard rave reviews from someone I admire. I finally got to go for my wife's birthday. The food wasn't just Spanish cuisine, it was "cuisine that only Chef Honda could create." It was truly delicious from start to finish! It was an unforgettable anniversary dinner. Thank you so much 😊

Craving Spanish cuisine beyond just tapas, I ventured to a restaurant specializing in Basque gastronomy, known for its culinary excellence. The course I enjoyed transcended the usual categories of Italian, French, and Spanish, proving that delicious food knows no boundaries. Having explored many culinary experiences, I was delighted to encounter dishes I had never tasted before, making it a truly blissful experience.

This was my first Basque cuisine experience. I ordered the set menu, and the bite-sized dishes with olive oil were delicious. Many of the dishes highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients, making for a wonderful experience. The staff was always attentive, so I never had any trouble asking questions about the food or ordering drinks. This restaurant is more suited for special occasions like events or anniversaries rather than everyday dining.
