Nestled within the verdant forest of Jingumae, the restaurant "La Grande Maison Tokyo" houses a hidden gem: "Bosquet", a charming patisserie, boulangerie, and cafe. This shop-in-shop concept is a well-kept secret, frequented mostly by residents of the nearby apartment complex, making it a true hidden treasure. As you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air, inviting you to explore the delectable creations of La Grande Maison Tokyo's renowned pastry chef, Mr. Nakajima. The display showcases an array of tempting breads and pastries, each crafted with meticulous care. Prepare to be surprised by the incredibly affordable prices for these exquisite treats. You might even question if there's a mistake! Here's a glimpse of what we enjoyed: * **Focaccia with Chorizo, Edamame, and Cheese:** ¥400 * **Churros (Cinnamon):** ¥200 * **Butter Toast (Harajuku Honey) with Guérande Salt:** ¥320 * **Fresh Croissant (Biore) with Sorlies (Black Figs):** ¥400 * **Fresh Croissant (Mont Blanc):** ¥450 Both takeout and dine-in options are available. The chef's signature "Prin Ala Mode" is an exclusive dine-in treat, featuring a delightful combination of fresh, seasonal fruits that change daily. The cafe offers a variety of seating options, including tables, window-side counter seats, and a charming terrace. On sunny days, the terrace is the perfect spot to soak up the ambiance. Although the sky was overcast on our visit, we opted for a table on the terrace. The beautiful plating, with its overflowing glass bowl, showcased the abundance of fresh fruit. The sweetness of the dessert was simply divine, and the pudding had the perfect firmness I prefer. Its rich, smooth texture was a delight. For a mere ¥900, this delightful treat was an absolute steal! The serene atmosphere, with its lush greenery, gentle breeze, and melodic bird songs, made for an unforgettable brunch experience. This tranquil haven is a true oasis in the heart of the city. The terrace is also dog-friendly, and they even provide complimentary cookies for our furry companions. Other popular items on the menu include Greek yogurt, acai bowls, and crepes. The staff's attentiveness and warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of our visit.

The staff at the main dining area of the neighboring French restaurant suddenly roamed around the store in silence, which was unsettling. I couldn't help but wonder if they were trying to say, 'Customers who buy bread wouldn't be able to handle Sakai Chef's French cuisine!' I didn't feel any sense of hospitality with their 'Welcome' greeting. The bakery staff, on the other hand, saw me out to the door when I left. What a difference! Is this Sakai Chef's policy?
The acai bowls are affordable and delicious, and the bread is also great 😊🥰
