The overall rating of 3.2 feels too low. There's a sense of some kind of intention behind it. Smoking is allowed, so children are not permitted to enter. The food is unremarkable, just an ordinary Western-style restaurant. The portions are small, but you can make up for it in terms of volume and price by ordering a set meal (depending on the dish). The only downside is the quality of the rice, which is disappointing. It's hard to say for sure, as it was during the rice crisis of the Reiwa era, but the rice alone is not good. The beef stew and tongue stew sets felt a bit underwhelming, but we were able to share a hamburger and fried food set to make up for it. The background music in the restaurant was nostalgic and pleasant, which may have contributed to the slightly lenient rating.
Hamburg steak with shrimp tempura. A classic children's meal with the addition of crab cream croquette, transforming it into an adult's delight. Each item is small, but the flavors are quite good. It seems they were freshly fried after ordering, which is a welcome treat. The plate is overflowing with dreams. The crab cream croquette is especially hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. It has a creamy flavor that surprisingly goes well with rice. But then again, stew goes well with rice, so it makes sense. The shrimp tempura disappears in an instant, but savoring it bit by bit is the adult way. Not like a child, gobbling it down. The same goes for the hamburger. It's enjoyed slowly and thoughtfully. Although thin in appearance, it's coarsely ground, offering a satisfying texture and a strong meaty flavor. Delicious. The name "Momorimori" made me think it meant to eat heartily, but perhaps it's named after Morishita Station. Well, it doesn't really matter either way. Hamburger A: 1000 yen (with shrimp tempura & crab cream croquette)
The food was all delicious. The service was also warm and friendly. However, they allow smoking at the tables, so be aware if you're a non-smoker.
The shrimp and cream croquettes were a bit small, but they were crispy and delicious. Smoking is allowed inside, so it's not suitable for children.
I was planning to have lunch in Takahashi Shopping Street after getting off at Morishita Station, but I saw a Western-style restaurant and decided to try it. The waitress had a really loud voice, and they made a lot of noise while clearing the table next to us. The portions were also small overall. I definitely won't be going back.
