I love chocolate mint, so when I saw the chocolate mint menu at hohokam, I went to the store right away. But I was disappointed. There was almost no mint flavor. It was too sweet. It's not something I could eat all the time. I wish they wouldn't just call it mint without actually tasting like mint. Just because a dessert is blue doesn't mean it's mint.
This is my absolute favorite burger in the world. I first visited 10 years ago and was blown away. Ever since, I've made it a point to visit whenever I'm in the Kanto region. I was surprised to find out it had moved locations and was gone when I went looking for it. But I learned it had relocated a few years ago. The taste remains as good as ever. It seems to have become quite popular, with a line forming when I went. I had to wait in line.
This American diner has a great atmosphere, with a long and narrow layout. I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, but it was a weekday and I went during off-peak hours, so the service was pretty standard. The berry and baby leaf salad, clam chowder, and ginger ale came to ¥3,360. The clam chowder had a lot of clam shell fragments in it, making it quite gritty (other reviewers have mentioned this too, so maybe they should improve it). The taste was decent, but the price was quite high for the portion size. I think there are better value-for-money restaurants out there, so I probably won't be going back.
The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making it a lovely place. However, the food itself was underwhelming. The clam chowder had numerous tiny pieces of shell that crunched between my teeth several times. I would recommend trying other menu items.

It's located near the station, but tucked away in a back alley, so you might have missed it before! It seems they recently moved. With 70 seats, it's spacious, so you can usually get in without waiting, even on weekends. ☺️ The restaurant boasts a pop and casual atmosphere reminiscent of LA. There are also sofa seats, so you can relax even in a large group. Besides hamburgers, they also offer desserts like pudding and ice cream sandwiches with giant cookies, all with a slightly junky but exciting feel. The high school students next to us were having a birthday surprise with a birthday plate! It seems they're celebrating with fireworks and brownies. This is a place where you can enjoy everything from the burgers to the desserts, even if you're a light eater, you might be full after the burger, but you should definitely try the desserts too!
