I visited this cafe for lunch, located near Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. It's a popular cafe that always has a line on weekends. It seems to be popular for various uses, such as working alone, girls' gatherings, couples, and families, as it has Wi-Fi. I always wondered why people would line up for this cafe, but I finally went on a weekday when it was less crowded! I ordered the spice curry. It's a chicken curry with a lot of tomatoes. You can really taste the sourness of the tomatoes, the sweetness of the onions, and the flavor of the spices. It's delicious. Also, the use of Thai rice is highly appreciated. It's quite authentic for a curry served at a cafe. The pickles, which are modeled after achar, also convey a sense of seriousness. As a curry enthusiast, I felt that the acidity of the pickles could be toned down a bit, as the curry is already quite sour with the tomatoes. Incidentally, my companion ordered the khao man gai, and I had a bite. We stopped by on our way back from visiting my mother's grave. It was a weekday afternoon, but it was still quite crowded. The food was all delicious! I had the B plate with pancakes. The sweet and savory combination was perfect. My mother had the salad plate and wanted something sweet, so we also ordered French toast. (Maybe they offer toppings as well?) It was quite a lot of food, so we shared it. I found out after ordering that they're famous for their cheesecake, so I'll definitely have to try that next time. Even though it was busy, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

I wanted to try the Basque cheesecake that had high ratings in reviews, so I visited twice. On my first visit, I ordered the Basque cheesecake with a cafe latte. I had imagined the cheesecake being served upright on a plate, with the thick texture shown in the review photos. However, the cheesecake that was served was thinner than the one in the review photos and was lying on its side. I felt a sense of unease, wondering if it was a mistake by the staff. I went home that day. Determined to try the Basque cheesecake again, I visited a week later. I ordered the Basque cheesecake with drip coffee, but the cheesecake that arrived was again thinner than the previous week and lying on its side. I wonder if they are reducing the thickness of the Basque cheesecake. Perhaps they think that by laying the cake on its side, they can cover up the reduced thickness and make it look like it's the same as before. The Basque cheesecake itself is very delicious, with a rich flavor, smooth texture, and a good balance of moistness. I wish they would go back to the upright style and thicker Basque cheesecake that was shown in the previous review photos.

The khao man gai was incredibly delicious! The restaurant uses space lavishly, so there's a good distance between tables and you don't feel cramped. There are also sofa seats, making it perfect for a girls' night out. There's a large counter for solo diners, too, so you can enjoy a meal by yourself. ♡ The khao man gai was delicious. The sauce was probably original, wasn't it? It wasn't spicy. I added cilantro, cucumber, and squeezed some lime. It was a delicious meal! ♡

I had to go to Kiyosumi Shirakawa, so I went to a cafe too! 😍 Kiyosumi Shirakawa is famous for having many stylish cafes, right?! I was going to go to CLANN BY THE RIVER, but it was packed, so I gave up! 😭 ParkStandTokyo also had a line, but it wasn't too long, so I waited. If it hadn't been raining, it would have been even more crowded, wouldn't it? ☺️ Lucky in a way! Khao Man Gai, spice curry, pancakes, salad plate! 🤔 What should I get? They have both savory and sweet pancakes! I went with the pancake plate A, which seemed to be the most popular! 👍 It came with bacon and eggs, sausage, and salad! It was so delicious! ❤️ It would be such a picture-perfect, elegant breakfast if I could make this at home. 🤭 I'm so envious! ✨ I'd probably have a smoothie to drink. And then coffee after!
