A DELUCA cafe that's open from morning. It's convenient. They also have some light snacks. The coffee flavor seems to vary between the cafe and the regular store, as they may use different beans. I'm used to the stronger flavor of the regular store, so I once complained that the coffee was weak, only to find out later that they use different beans. It's a comfortable place. The coffee is a bit weak for me, though. I prefer Guatemala and French Roast, so I judge based on that. If you're at the cafe, espresso is probably the safest bet.

A small shop located on the first floor of the new building of Takashimaya Nihonbashi. It was relatively empty at around 11 am on a weekday, but it was soon full by noon. For lunch, I had chicken tomato curry and iced latte. It was delicious, but considering the location, it might be a bit pricey for men in terms of quantity. The atmosphere is very good. After eating, I opened my Mac and stayed for a while. The free Wi-Fi somehow also reached Starbucks' signal.

After my health checkup, I had breakfast at Dean & DeLuca. I ordered the "Prosciutto, Mozzarella, and Tomato Hot Sandwich" made with their whole wheat bread, along with a cup of coffee. The prosciutto, with its perfect saltiness, and the coleslaw salad complemented the mozzarella cheese beautifully, leaving me completely satisfied.

I recommend visiting this cafe solo. The small street where it's located has elegant shops on both sides, creating a lovely atmosphere. I often use it to take a break during work, for lunch or tea. This time, I had a croissant sandwich (egg and salami) and a small coffee for ¥1,100. The deli set is a bit pricey, though. I prefer to come here for coffee or a light meal, and enjoy reading or doing some light work. The clientele is generally older and the cafe is relatively quiet. They sell a variety of food items inside.

On Sunday, a little after noon, about 80% of the seats were filled. I ordered the quiche and deli set with coffee. I was happy to see that the deli included plenty of superfoods and nuts. The coffee was a blend that wasn't really suited for drinking straight, so I'd like to try one of the other delicious-looking drinks next time. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.
