I had a scone and a milk tea that wasn't part of the set. The scone wasn't the kind that splits open easily, so it was a bit difficult to eat, but it tasted good. The cream served with the scone was yogurt flavored, so be aware if you're looking for clotted cream. (This was also refreshing and delicious.)
The salad lunch set is ¥1400. For an additional ¥400, you can choose from a selection of teas instead of just the "Tea of the Day" in the pot. I chose an orange flavored tea, while my friend opted for chai. If you prefer milk tea, you can request it to be brewed stronger. The salad is quite generous in size and comes with delicious baguette, making it a very satisfying meal. Personally, I found the pate-like olives served with the baguette to be a unique and refreshing flavor and texture I had never experienced before.
I made a reservation for the Lucky Cats Afternoon Tea, which is available on weekdays only. The afternoon tea set includes scones, salad, and a selection of cakes, with a focus on pastries. It's visually appealing with its cute presentation. I appreciate the thoughtful service of keeping the teapot warm. I'd like to try their lunch next time.
I love Janat's tea, and since I was out with my dog, I decided to stop by. The terrace seats were full, so I had to wait a while, but it was worth it. **Menu:** * Nice Salad * Madagascar Cake * Tea The salad was generous and came with a baguette. The Madagascar cake was absolutely delicious. The cake was moist, and the sauce was a perfectly bitter caramel. It was spot on. The tea was, of course, delicious. The staff was very attentive. I want to try their scones next time.
We enjoyed the weekday-only afternoon tea. (Reservations are required for afternoon tea.) We were able to choose our tea from the menu, and seasonal teas were also available, so we opted for the Christmas blend. When we asked for milk, the staff kindly offered to make it stronger for milk tea, which truly showcased their expertise in tea. Milk refills were also available. The sweets were quite plentiful. The bottom tier featured a salad and a savory cake-like item, which was a nice palate cleanser. The cheesecake on the top tier had a unique, slightly crunchy texture on the bottom and was absolutely delicious. The scones were a hard, non-split type with a crumbly texture. They were served with jam and cream (not clotted cream, but a yogurt-like cream with a tangy flavor). While tea isn't refillable, additional drinks can be ordered. Last orders are 30 minutes before closing. Leftovers cannot be taken home, so if you think you might get full, be sure to eat your favorites first.
