A beer bar located just a few minutes' walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station. I visited on a Saturday night. It's open until 2:00 AM, so I used it for my third round of drinks. The interior has a counter on the first floor, and it seems like there are tables for groups on the second floor. Although it's a beer bar, they have a wide variety of drinks besides craft beer, including wine, gin, rum, and whiskey. However, most of them seem to be domestic. Even the wine is Japanese wine. They serve roasted rice crackers as an appetizer. They have a wide selection of craft beers, available in glasses, mugs, or bottles. You can choose your own or tell the staff your preferences and they'll recommend something for you. I ordered the Full Speed Ahead from Ehime Prefecture. It's a beer with a pineapple and tropical fruity flavor. But it still has a good beer taste and isn't too light, so it's delicious. My companion had the Edel Pils, which had a strong bitterness but was crisp and refreshing, and it was also delicious. There were so many other interesting beers that I want to go back late at night again.
A hidden gem bar just a stone's throw from the station! They have a wide selection of Japanese wines and craft beers. I visited this bar as my second stop around 10 pm on a Saturday. It's located about a 3-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, in an area with many restaurants. It's a bar, but unusually, it's not just a two-story building, but a three-story one. The first floor has only counter seats, the second floor is a loft, and the third floor seems to have sofa seating. This time, I was with a friend and we were seated at the counter on the first floor. 《What we ordered》 - Appetizer: Roasted rice crackers - White glass: Coco Farm Winery, 2021 'Waiting for the Moon' - Caprese The caprese had plenty of tomatoes and arugula, topped with an abundance of burrata cheese. It looked very creamy, but it also had a nice, chewy texture. The richness of the cream went perfectly with the refreshing tomatoes. As the name suggests, the drinks are mainly craft beers, but they also have a wide selection of wines from famous wineries across Japan, as well as domestic gins and rare whiskies. The food ranges from snacks to pizza and desserts. Since it's a beer-focused establishment, they naturally have a sausage platter. All the prices are reasonable, under ¥1,000. It's close to the station, but has a hidden gem vibe. It's a great place that makes you feel like you've got a higher IQ just for knowing about it. The first floor is only counter seating, and the staff are friendly and chatty, so there were a few people dining alone. I would have been happier if the appetizer had been something a little more elaborate than roasted rice crackers... but that said, I was very satisfied with the delicious drinks and food. Thank you for the meal!
I love it so much, it's not an exaggeration to call it my second home… It's a bar, but in a good way, it's not pretentious and you can be yourself, it's a warm and welcoming space. The best… They always have a variety of craft beers on tap, so you can try something different every time and enjoy delicious beer with a fresh feeling every time ᕙ( ‘ᾥ’ )ᕗ
I came here in search of beer in Kinshicho. I wanted to enjoy a beer slowly by myself. This place is characterized by its Japanese products! Beer, sake, whiskey! All Japanese! It's clear they have a strong commitment to quality. The first beer I had was the Hanjuro Beer. It was delicious! It might not be available next time I come, but it was a good thing to have a one-time encounter. I sat at the counter in front of the refrigerated display case, and there were beers on the menu that weren't listed! I was really drawn to the Hida Takayama beer, but it was a large size so I didn't order it. I ordered a three-cheese appetizer, which was very strong and difficult to pair with beer. But that's what made it fun. I ended up drinking too much. Later, I asked for a recommendation and had the Mojiko Port Beer. Is that from Kyushu? Isn't it a shochu? Don't underestimate it. They have a wide selection of Japanese beers, so you can try beers from all over Japan. If you're interested, definitely check it out!
A selection of alcoholic beverages that focuses on Japanese brands. Their beer and whiskey selections are truly impressive. I can't remember the name of that beer that tasted like grapes, even though it was made with only hops... The regular beers are orthodox, but the selection of craft beers is quite impressive. The food menu is a bit disappointing as it's always the same, but the food is good, so it's not a big deal. A place where quiet beer lovers gather. It's always packed, even on weekdays. The potato salad and the blue cheese and honey pizza are must-tries.
