**Restaurant Features:** This stylish cafe is located near Ueno Zoo, about a 5-minute walk from the Park Exit of Ueno Station. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, with a layout primarily consisting of tables. The location is excellent, making it a great place to relax. **Ordered Menu:** *All prices are inclusive of tax (as of the date of this review) * **Blend Coffee / ¥800** The coffee has a strong flavor with a slightly bitter taste, but low acidity and a clean finish. It's a Rainforest Alliance certified coffee that emphasizes environmental and organic cultivation. **Reference Information:** I visited on a weekend evening. There was a 7-group wait, but I was able to pass the time at a nearby market, so it felt like no time at all before I was seated. I was seated at a window seat in the back of the cafe, so I could enjoy the view while relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful time!
I visited the cafe in front of the museum! It's a lovely cafe surrounded by greenery. Maybe because they have vegan options, everyone else there was a foreign visitor. I ordered breakfast, fresh herb lemonade, and Earl Grey tea. Everything was so delicious, I was blown away! I forgot to take a picture of the Earl Grey, but I had a second cup, haha. The staff were also incredibly friendly and smiling. I'll definitely be back! (^-^)/
A cafe restaurant located in Ueno Park, right in front of Starbucks. The atmosphere is nice for a cafe in a park, and the food was decent. You order from the staff, but pay at a self-service counter. The service was average, but one of the female staff members was very friendly. Be aware that you might have to wait a while during peak season when Ueno Park is crowded. Overall, I give it 4 stars, taking into account the atmosphere of Ueno Park.
A lodge-style cafe that recently opened in Ueno Park. The exterior is fantastic! The staff are friendly and make a good impression. The menu is a bit limited, and the prices are high... I think it's geared towards tourists. You order face-to-face, and payment is self-service.
The food was simply not good. We ordered the lunch plate, souffle pancakes with berries, kids' hamburger, and kids' curry. First of all, the dishes didn't look like the pictures on the menu. I only tried the pancakes, which looked nice but weren't tasty. They were on par with family restaurant pancakes. There was no joy in savoring them, so I ate them quickly. The kids' hamburger came with a toy, but 1,000 yen is too expensive for it. 600 yen would be reasonable. Plus, my child didn't even eat it. The lunch plate also tasted like frozen food, which was unsurprisingly unpopular. The lady at the table next to us even asked the waiter if the actual dish was different from the picture on the menu. I think the waiter said something about the plating changing with the season. The staff seemed like they were all part-timers, so you shouldn't expect much from a place like this. It's disappointing that a major chain like Create Restaurant would do this. I saw their ad on my phone and had high hopes. The interior was nice and Instagrammable. I'd say it's a place that prioritizes looks over substance. So, I'd recommend it only for a quick coffee break. I think it was around 800 yen for a cup.
