I visited 'crisscross,' a restaurant that has been included in the Tabelog Top 100 for both 2021 and 2022. Located in the stylish district of Omotesando, the restaurant itself exudes an even more sophisticated atmosphere. With its open terrace, it seems like a wonderful place to enjoy a sunny day. I arrived around 11:30 am, but the restaurant was already full with about 10 groups waiting. It's definitely a popular spot. After waiting about 20 minutes, I was seated and ordered the club house sandwich and the buttermilk pancakes with sausage and fried egg. Both were absolutely delicious! The pancakes were especially good - they were among the best I've ever had. The staff were also friendly and attentive. I really appreciated them constantly refilling my water. This is definitely a place I want to visit again!

I finally went for morning coffee at a place I'd been wanting to try 😊 The terrace seating was perfect for the season, it was so nice! I ordered the classic plate from the morning menu 🍽️ It came with soup, which I thought was a good deal. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great, it made for a relaxing start to the day 😁 I'll have to try the pancakes next time.

I went to Cafe crisscross! It was featured in a guidebook, and I really wanted to try their morning menu. It's just a short walk from Omotesando. I arrived a little after 10 am, and there were a few empty seats so I didn't have to wait. The terrace was also empty at that time. The inside of the cafe was pleasantly dim, and there were people enjoying their time alone. The seating was a bit close together, so I could hear conversations from the neighboring tables, but it was within an acceptable range. You order by scanning a QR code. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with sausage and fried egg for 1780 yen and coffee with free refills for 680 yen from the morning menu. The coffee was from NOZY COFFEE. If it was good, I'd have to go back again. The coffee came out first. It was a little weak for my taste. The pancakes arrived a while later. The whipped cream was fluffy, and the pancakes had a nice balance of saltiness and sweetness. They were delicious even without syrup! The girls at the table next to me were already drinking beer and wine. The table next to them was a family of foreign tourists. The terrace was filled with more foreign tourists and residents than Japanese people. I appreciated that they were quick to offer refills when my coffee ran out. If you're inside, they do table checks for the bill. When I asked for the bill, they poured me a refill of coffee. That's a nice service, isn't it? It made me happy from the morning.

I had some errands to run in Omotesando, so I stopped by a famous bakery and got some takeout! I bought several savory bread items, including their famous donuts. ◎Review The savory bread was delicious, but the donuts were truly a surprise. I've never had a donut like this before! It tasted like a cinnamon churro, sweet and delicious. It was a fluffy, bread-like donut with a crispy, airy texture. The cinnamon and sugar on the crispy exterior were irresistible! Next time I go, I'm going to buy all the donuts! ❤️

I visited this place specifically for their pancakes. I got a numbered ticket around 2 PM and was able to enter around 3 PM. ♡ The pancakes were quite thick and substantial. The portion size was perfect for sharing between two people! I recommend sharing for girls. The seasonal pancakes had a strong cinnamon and ginger flavor, making them a sophisticated treat. The seasonal soup was so delicious, I wanted to order another bowl! 😭 Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡
