The meat is delicious! Even in this day and age, beer is only ¥570 for a medium bottle! The interior is clean! The service is incredibly fast, it comes out in about 3 minutes. It was a very satisfying yakiniku experience. It's a shame the name doesn't do it justice...!! I recommend the sirloin, the premium offal, and the kimchi. The wasabi kalbi is a bit too much, though, haha.

This is a review from the top 10% of comments for L9's yakiniku restaurant. The ingredients are good, but the staff is not. Even when ordering rice refills for lunch, the service is slow, and the meat either burns or gets cold (happened twice in a row). The staff silently adjusts the heat and disappears... I used to go there occasionally at night 20 years ago, but after a recent fire incident, even though the interior is now clean... it's just not the same. If they only focus on the ingredients, I wonder about their business prospects.

A neighborhood yakiniku place I want to make a regular. The komutan soup and senmai sashimi are delicious! I only ordered mino and chicken for yakiniku, but the side menu is also extensive. It's always crowded, so reservations are a must. It's also nice that it's right by the station.

This was my first time visiting. I arrived around 12:30 PM, during lunchtime. It was a Saturday, so the restaurant was bustling with families, but I was seated promptly without a wait. The interior was stylishly decorated, a far cry from the smoky, greasy atmosphere of traditional Japanese yakiniku restaurants. I chose the Black Wagyu Kalbi Set (¥1450) from the lunch menu. Since the menu didn't have pictures, I wasn't sure how much meat came with it, so I opted for the ¥350 meat upgrade and the ¥50 rice upgrade. The meat arrived on a single plate with bean sprout namul and kimchi. The taste was decent, nothing special. It lacked a bit of punch, and for a rather expensive lunch at ¥1850, I wasn't entirely satisfied. With many children present on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was quite noisy, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. I left shortly after finishing my food.

We went with a group of 5 adults and a 5-year-old in 2022. 😘 It's super convenient because it's right in front of Toyosu Station, but you can't make reservations on weekends, so you have to go early and wait in line. So we lined up at 5 am and waited for 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly and the meat was all delicious. 😍😍😍 We were so busy eating that we forgot to take pictures of the extra meat, bibimbap, and cold noodles, but we drank a lot of beer 🍻 and shochu, so it ended up costing us 26,000 yen. But if you're just two people, you can enjoy the meat for around 10,000 yen. 🥰 Update: I went for lunch for the first time. 😘 I ordered the Wagyu sirloin set and the marinated brisket set. It was Thursday at 1 pm, so it was past the lunch rush and we were lucky to get a table without waiting. 🤞 The brisket was so tender and delicious. 😋 And then I went back for dinner again. 😆 It's so helpful to have a delicious yakiniku place nearby. ✨ I was starting to feel summer fatigue, so I thought I'd have some meat. Everything was delicious except for the white tripe. 💓 ← Just my personal opinion. (^◇^;) I forgot to ask how long I could keep a bottle, but I kept one anyway. (It's so nice that they let you keep bottles! 😘) I went for lunch and it was closed for renovations until September. 😱 So sad. 😢 I went for dinner 🌉 and lunch after the fire and renovation. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ The restaurant is even nicer now, and the staff is as friendly as ever. There are some new female staff members who are cute and kind. 👍 July 2023 Update: I've been going about once a month lately, but I sometimes cheat on them with other yakiniku places (lol). 😂 It's so good! It's good value for money, delicious, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and best of all, your clothes don't smell like smoke! ✨✨✨ It's a small thing, but it's a big help. 👍🫶
