As the name suggests, the sashimi here is the best value for money! For under 500 yen, you get thick slices of sashimi that are very satisfying. The beer comes in small and large sizes. I was hesitant and ordered the large, which turned out to be a 1L size! The small size was like a regular medium-sized beer glass at other restaurants. The service is a bit salty, but if you can enjoy that kind of communication, it's just right. If you're not used to it, just think of it as entertainment.

This place offers fresh, lively seafood at a reasonable price, making it a great value for money. Despite being a Friday night, I didn't have to wait in line. The reason for this became clear quickly. One of the counter staff, despite not being particularly busy, gave off a 'it's pointless to even try' vibe, going beyond simply being rude. It's a shame, especially considering the great value. Maybe I'd give it three stars if I was feeling more generous.

The seafood here is delicious! From sashimi to grilled fish, simmered fish, tempura, and vinegared dishes, everything is tasty and reasonably priced. I especially recommend the sashimi! Many regulars order only sashimi. The restaurant's recommendation is the medium fatty tuna (chūtoro), but I prefer the fatty tuna belly (nakaochi). The sashimi is available quickly if it's in the refrigerated case. It's always crowded, so you need to confirm if your order has been placed. For first-timers, there's no shochu (Japanese distilled liquor). Orders are taken by the designated waitress for each counter. Even if you're facing away from them, feel free to order when they're in front of you! They're likely listening.

I visited on a Thursday evening before 6 PM. I was able to get a table right away. This is a place I've been wanting to try for a while, and it lived up to my expectations. It was affordable and delicious! 😋 The place gets busy, and the waitresses get swamped. As the reviews mentioned, it can be hard to order. I found it manageable, but it's best to wait for a lull and order everything at once. I love places with a retro vibe, and this one was perfect! 🥰 Thank you for the delicious meal! 😋 It's all counter seating, so I recommend going with a friend.
