We waited in line for about an hour. First, we waited in the queue for about 30 minutes. Then, we received a numbered ticket and had about 20 minutes to wander around the area while we waited. You have to wait in line to even look at the items in the store, so we skipped that this time. When a table becomes available, you get an automated phone call. We were a group of two, so we were seated at a table for two, but it seemed like groups of three or more were seated at larger tables. The mille-feuille and macarons are popular and photogenic, but the mille-feuille is quite large, so it's enough for two people to share. The tables are small, but we ordered five items, making it difficult to take good photos. The bill came out to about 15,000 yen for two people.
The restaurant, the food, and the cakes are all quite photogenic. This time, after much deliberation, I ordered a course, which included a mix of delicious and fairly ordinary dishes. My favorite part was the staff's service. Not only was it attentive, but their thoughtfulness was exceptional. While some of the dishes felt average for the price, the excellent service, the ambiance, and the beautiful, sparkling plates made for a delightful lunch. I arrived 30 minutes before the weekday opening and waited. Foreign visitors began to gather steadily. About 5 minutes before opening, the staff came out and separated the cafe customers to the right of the entrance and the shopping customers to the left. There were only three groups of cafe customers. They only seat you once everyone in your party has arrived. The cakes were surprisingly large. The melon shortcake was light and easy to eat, but the chocolate mille-feuille was too much for me to finish on my own. However, it had a refined sweetness, so it might be perfect for someone with a sweet tooth.
The space was absolutely lovely! ♡ I was worried it might be crowded on a Saturday, but luckily I was able to get in without waiting! The menu didn't have pictures, so I was excited to see what would come out. ♩ The taste was, of course, exquisite! Chocolate with black pepper is such a novel combination... I usually don't eat strawberry cake because I find strawberries too tart, but this one was somehow not too sour, the perfect balance. As expected of Vuitton ✨ I wanted to try a drink with the Vuitton pattern, so I asked the staff! They were so thoughtful, offering the same drink in different colors, which made me happy ♪
My friend was buying a wallet and asked the staff if we could stop by Caffe. They made a reservation for us, and we were able to enter right away. Unfortunately, the Caffe staff brought a Chinese menu, and my friend was very upset. We only had drinks, but it was a calm and peaceful atmosphere, a world away from the hustle and bustle outside. One thing that bothered me was that the entrance to the restroom was very close to the kitchen entrance. When I was waiting in line for the restroom, I had to avoid the staff carrying food, as it was so narrow. It made me concerned about hygiene.
I visited around 3:00 PM on a weekday and was able to enter without waiting. The interior is decorated in blue, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. As a huge fan of LV, I felt incredibly happy to be in this space! ◆ Raspberry Macaron ¥2600 ◆ Freshly Made Mille-Feuille ¥2800 ◆ Iced Coffee Latte ¥2000 You are asked whether you would prefer free water or mineral water. Since it's priced, I opted for the free water, but perhaps due to the ambiance, even the water tasted delicious. The desserts are not customizable, and you can choose two options. The macaron had a hinata orange confiture filling, making it sweet but refreshing and incredibly delicious. The mille-feuille featured a crispy and fluffy pastry with vanilla cream made from Madagascar vanilla beans. The sweetness was slightly restrained, but the cream was incredibly rich and flavorful. The prices are somewhat high, but the food, service, and overall experience were exceptional. I definitely plan to visit again.
