This is a new shop opened by staff from Beauty Connection Ginza Fruits Salon. They offer parfaits, shaved ice, baked goods, and fresh pastries. Reservations are made through the tablecheck website. The shaved ice is meticulously crafted, with each cup costing around ¥2,000. While it's on the pricier side, the quality is evident in every bite. They use seasonal fruits, offering a unique experience with each passing season. The focus on fresh ingredients makes every visit a delight. Their baked goods are also exceptional. I highly recommend their cookies, rusks, and financiers. Personally, I'm a big fan of their rusks and cheese cookies. The interior has a luxurious feel, with beautiful and stylish dried flowers. The clean and well-maintained restrooms are a plus. The staff is attentive and provides excellent service, making you want to return again and again. Payment is only accepted via cashless methods, including credit cards.
I made a reservation for a weekday afternoon in October, around 1:00 PM. This was my third visit this year. This time, I had the lemon, and the balance of the lemon's tartness and the sweetness of the cream was exquisite. It's a complex yet delicate and flavorful deliciousness that only Uru can create. I look forward to trying different versions each time. I will definitely visit again.
I recently visited Maison heureux, a dessert shop that opened in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. It's owned by a former pastry chef from Beauty Connection Ginza Fruits Salon in Ginza. I went for the first time on their special shaved ice day. I ordered the Cherry and Red Beauty (plum) shaved ice for 2,000 yen. The shaved ice was piled high with cherry flesh, compote, and sauce. There was also sauce inside. The ingredients included: cherry tonic syrup, Yamanashi Prefecture Red Beauty sauce, almond milk, cherry and Red Beauty sauté, cava soufflé glace, Yamanashi Prefecture Beni-Shuhou cherries. The cherries had a crisp texture, bursting with juicy sweetness and a tangy flavor. The Red Beauty sauce was also sweet and tart. The shaved ice was crunchy and refreshingly cold, melting smoothly in your mouth. The cherry tonic syrup had a strong, aromatic alcohol flavor. The almond milk was sweet and had a hint of cheese. The cava soufflé glace had a sophisticated wine flavor.
A new dessert shop that grand opened on April 19, 2024. The strawberry, mint, and lemonade parfait I ordered was colorful and made me happy just looking at it! Of course, it was also a delight to eat, with a refreshing and gentle adult flavor that highlighted the natural ingredients. The iced lemonade I ordered with it had a sophisticated taste, with a mellow smoothness that felt like it had been aged. It's amazing how it still has a strong lemon acidity. The shop itself has a high ceiling and a spacious atmosphere. The contrast between the concrete materials and the dried flowers is fun, and it really makes the parfait stand out. Reservations are required, but I have a feeling it might become impossible to even get a reservation soon!
Today's sweet treat: #maisonheureux's #StrawberryMintLemonadeParfait and #Darjeeling tea. I heard there was a new place serving parfaits, so I ventured into an area I don't usually visit. It's quiet, with wide streets, and it feels good to walk around. The Amaotome sorbet is so sweet. The combination of strawberries, fresh mint, and lemonade is delicious, just as the name suggests. ☺️ The mint meringue is refreshing. The green marbling is cool and lovely. The mint milk ice cream is on the milder side. I think the Benihoppe strawberries and lemonade inside are marinated. It's either a blancmange or panna cotta. It has a coumarin aroma, so it's probably blancmange. The white wine jelly is tart and delicious. There's a slight lingering alcohol taste. I think there was another sour sauce somewhere, but it blended in and I couldn't tell what it was. It's delicious, and it has originality. 😌 I loved the combination of strawberry, mint, and lemonade, the mint meringue, and the white wine jelly. There are two parfait options on the menu, and they change every 1.5 to 2 months. I might add this to my sweet tooth rotation.
