Yoshinoya, Narita International Airport Terminal 2

After clearing security at Narita Airport, I was shocked by the high prices when I tried to get something to eat. Ramen and udon easily cost over ¥2,000 (laughs). At Yoshinoya, a budget-friendly option, a regular bowl of beef bowl and a draft beer cost ¥1,400! The draft beer alone was ¥880. 😁

It's a typical Yoshinoya, neither good nor bad. There don't seem to be many Japanese staff, but there are no particular issues. It's a lifesaver because it's the only place to eat in this area at night.
I found it hard to get full at other sushi restaurants, so I decided to try something different here. I ordered the Iron Plate Beef Kalbi Set with pickled vegetables on the side. It was about 80% full at 9 PM. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The beef kalbi was served on a sizzling hot plate, which was a nice touch. I was thrilled to have both beef bowl and grilled kalbi in one dish. Going from sushi to a beef bowl place, I was definitely stuffed. Thank you for the delicious meal!
**2024.08** A server will come to take your order and bring your food. You pay at the register when you're finished. (Inefficient.) **2023.06** I like their early morning breakfast. **2023.02** A server comes to take your order after you sit down. Still inefficient. **2022.12** I came here after six years. There were quite a few customers. The way you eat at this restaurant is: ① First, sit down. ② Ring the bell to call a server and order. ③ When you're finished, pay at the counter. This restaurant has servers who bring your food and clear your table. It's not self-service. **2016.07.06 (Wed)** It seems this restaurant opened on this date. This type of restaurant is usually pushed to inconvenient locations, but this one is conveniently located on the second floor, right below the international departures lobby on the third floor. You can use it right after checking in, even for early morning flights. There are no counter seats, so a server always comes to your table to bring you water and take your order. The prices are average. I think it will be difficult for them as more foreign customers come and they have to deal with the extra work. Cold water is free. I was also looking forward to the airside restaurants, but they had ridiculously high prices and were disappointing.
