A renowned izakaya (Japanese pub) located in Tsukiji. I visited with my colleagues for a farewell party. According to my coworker, "This is always our go-to spot when we drink in this area." As soon as the course started, sushi and sashimi dishes came out one after another. Everything was delicious and the portions were more than enough. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. Drink orders are placed using a trendy tablet system. Once you get used to it, it's convenient and easy. It's a relief to be able to order drinks via tablet, especially when it's busy and you don't want to bother the staff. The service was impeccable. My coworker, who frequents this place, mentioned that "It's actually more cost-effective to order individually rather than having the course." So, I plan to visit again with a smaller group next time.

They have a tablet-based, self-order system now. The atmosphere has changed quite a bit compared to a few years ago. I was happy to see that they give a generous amount of "hoppy" (a Japanese alcoholic drink). The rice pot (kamameshi) is an amazing deal at under 500 yen! It's a good portion size and the crispy rice on the bottom is delicious. It takes a while to prepare, so it's best to order it first.

A reasonably priced and satisfying izakaya. Draft beer is 330 yen. They serve sushi as an appetizer. The sake is also reasonably priced, and the dishes are mostly things that sake drinkers would enjoy. Very satisfied. I want to go again. Sushi (appetizer, 418 yen) Sashimi platter for one (550 yen) Deep-fried rolled tofu skin (605 yen) Deep-fried fugu with spicy cod roe (660 yen) Steamed clams with sake Itawasabi

I was surprised to receive two pieces of sushi as an appetizer. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I definitely want to visit again.

## Lunch (Note: As of November 2019, lunch service was discontinued) **Mackerel Salt-Grilled Set** **Chicken Nanban Set** Both are ¥690 Rice refills are free The portions are decent, the service is quick, the mackerel is juicy, and the ginger pork is packed with ginger, making it delicious. The menu offers both fish and meat dishes. ## Dinner First visit at night. On this particular day, the restaurant was fully booked and seemed extremely busy. Even after being seated, it took a while for someone to take our order. When the manager-like person finally arrived (despite being busy), he had a very unpleasant expression. You'd think that even when busy, taking orders would be essential for sales. When we asked for the sashimi to be cut into portions for the number of people, we ended up with individual plates for each person. It's unlikely that a group of middle-aged people would order like that, so it was frustrating that they didn't even bother to confirm before taking the order. The irritation was palpable. It's a shame because the food is affordable and delicious.
