A great place to enjoy a variety of craft beers. The beer is delicious, but the food is just okay. It's probably a bit pricey for a tourist spot. The atmosphere is nice, so it's a good place to visit while sightseeing. It might not be the best choice for locals or people from nearby areas looking for a regular spot.
The beer and food were both delicious. The staff was also kind and provided attentive service, making for a pleasant experience. I definitely want to go back soon!
The potato salad, does it have cream cheese in it? It goes great with beer!
I took a leisurely stroll to Asakusa Station and then wandered over the Azuma Bridge to the Asahi Brewery, famous for its golden… well, golden beer symbol. I'd been wanting to visit for a while, so I was excited to finally make it. Even though it was past noon, I went in solo and enjoyed a beer tasting (laughs). The beers I tried that day were: - Kolsch style - Aromatic Weizen - Bitter Stout - Beer of the Day (Kuramae BLACK) Kuramae BLACK is a craft beer made with coffee, and it had a distinctive coffee bitterness and flavor. I thought it might go well with chocolate cake, actually. Personally, I liked the Bitter Stout the best. Black beer is always delicious! They also have a fruity Weizen that women might enjoy, so I recommend a tasting for beer-loving couples. I had some onion rings as a snack and spent about an hour leisurely enjoying the beer. The bill came to just under ¥3,000. It was a bit of a splurge, but it was nice to treat myself.
A cafe bar where you can enjoy fresh craft beer casually. The first floor has a casual atmosphere and is popular with solo drinkers. The second floor has a more relaxed atmosphere and larger portions of food, making it ideal for a leisurely evening with friends. This time, I was on my own and wanted a quick drink, so I went to the first floor and ordered their signature craft beer and a dark beer. Both were served with care and the creamy foam was incredibly delicious. The burger, named after the establishment, was also a classic and a perfect pairing with the beer. The pre-payment system is convenient, but the lack of credit card acceptance is inconvenient. Payment is only accepted in cash or by electronic money, so be aware of this.
