I heard rumors about their delicious croissants and decided to check them out. The buttery aroma was strong and the croissants were truly delicious. The savory pies also had a fantastic, crunchy texture. The prices are a bit high, but they are worth it. While all the breads were delicious, the hazelnut latte I ordered in the cafe space wasn't to my liking. It might have been too rich because of the abundance of crushed nuts.
I visited on a weekday afternoon. It's an 8-minute walk from Omotesando Station. The interior is stylish, with bread displayed in glass cases. They have sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and cakes. You secure a seat in the 2nd floor eat-in area before choosing your bread on the 1st floor (stairs). You pay for the bread on the 1st floor. Drinks can also be purchased there, but they come in takeaway paper cups. The 2nd floor eat-in space has a calming atmosphere with wooden tables. I ordered my drinks on the 2nd floor. ⚀ Lime Cloud Croissant 528 yen ⚀ Cafe Latte (Hot) 715 yen The croissant dough was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice wheat aroma. The lime puree meringue, which I thought would be hard, was actually creamy. Although it was sweet, the refreshing acidity of the lime was very delicious. The cafe latte was a generous portion, almost the size of a soup cup. The latte art was beautiful. They accept electronic payments. They also have a wide selection of food items.
I went shopping on Omotesando and stopped by my favorite Gontran Cherrier. The Atré Meguro location only offers takeout, but you can eat in on the second floor or on the outdoor terrace. First, you'll be announced to secure a seat on the second floor. Even though it was a weekday in the summer holidays before noon, it was almost full. You can buy bread on the first floor and order drinks at the restaurant on the second floor, or you can order from the restaurant menu on the second floor. Everyone was enjoying their food in different ways. I bought my favorite simple croissant on the first floor and ordered an iced coffee on the second floor. Orders are taken at your table on the second floor, and you pay at the end. The iced coffee had a low acidity and a deep roast, which was delicious. It came with a complimentary cookie. The sandwiches, restaurant menu, and vegetable and fruit juices looked so good, so I'll definitely be back.
We visited for Sunday lunch. I inquired about wheelchair accessibility to the second-floor eat-in area, and the chef, who happened to be outside, kindly opened a private room for us. We enjoyed a luxurious private dining experience for two. We ordered the following: - G.C Beef Burger ¥1,980 - Seasonal Vegetable Risotto ¥1,870 - Citrus Lemonade ¥715 The beef burger's original sauce was mild and the meat was juicy. The potato chips were freshly fried, and the pickles were perfectly pickled with a pleasant acidity. The risotto was light and satisfying, featuring a medley of seasonal vegetables. The lemonade was a perfect complement to the burger's richness. It was a delightful meal. Thank you!
I visited around 3 pm on a weekday and found only a few seats available in the second-floor eat-in space. Before buying bread, the staff kindly advised me to secure a seat first. I decided to have an iced latte S (¥420 excluding tax) and an anchovy and olive rice flour ciabatta, pissaladière (¥380) for eat-in. The chewy rice flour dough with anchovy and olives was a perfect combination. It was delicious, and the size of the bread made it great value for money. I also took away a croissant (¥300), a rice flour ciabatta with mixed olives (¥340), and a tradition with pistachio (¥420). The terrace-style interior has a high ceiling and feels pleasant, but the tables are close together, and I could hear all the conversations of the nearby business people, which was a bit distracting. Thank you for the delicious meal.
