I had the rich pork bone and seafood ramen! As the name suggests, it's a thick, creamy broth, with a strong seafood aroma. It's delicious. You can choose between a regular or a larger portion for free. The staff said, "If it's too rich, we can dilute it for you." I love rich broths, but I appreciate their consideration! The char siu is seared, giving it a wonderful aroma! The default amount of char siu is generous! I'm completely satisfied!
I don't usually eat tsukemen, but I went because I heard it was delicious! You can choose the amount of noodles, so I ordered a medium portion and also ordered a tamago kake gohan (raw egg over rice). The seafood broth was incredibly flavorful, and the noodles came with a variety of different types of chashu (roasted pork), all of which were delicious. I was very satisfied and never got bored while eating. There was powdered green chili pepper available, so I added some halfway through. It was another great addition! You purchase tickets from a vending machine, but I saw a few people make mistakes. I imagine it must be difficult for the staff to handle the vending machine during busy times, so I thought it would be helpful to have fewer, more concise instructions. For example, instead of listing multiple things like "only 1000 yen bills accepted," it might be easier to just say "1000 yen bills only." I imagine the number of instructions has increased because so many people make mistakes. I apologize if this is unsolicited advice. I just want both customers and staff to have a pleasant experience.
Rich seafood tsukemen with a hint of yuzu. This time, I ordered the simple, rich seafood pork bone tsukemen for ¥1200. The toppings were simple, just chopped seaweed and roast pork. There were three kinds of roast pork: beef?, pork, and chicken, making it luxurious. They were also large and had a strong presence. They were also grilled, so the aroma was appetizing. The noodles were thick egg noodles. Regular and medium sizes are free. The soup was very rich. I like rich soups, so it was to my liking. The soup was served in a generous amount, so it was nice to be able to eat the noodles with the soup until the very end. There were various seasonings on the table, but the green chili peppers were unusual. They had a refreshing aroma and a strong spiciness, and they surprisingly went well with the dish. The interior was wider than it looked from the entrance. There were multiple tables in addition to the counter. The walls were made of earthen walls, so it seemed like it was originally a small restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and luxurious, and it was comfortable. The fact that it was right next to the exit of Kiyosumi Shirakawa Station was also a high point.
Located just a one-minute walk from the A3 exit of Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station, "Menya Miyamoto" is a highly popular ramen shop among ramen enthusiasts. The main feature is its rich tonkotsu fish broth, and the extensive menu offers a variety of flavors to enjoy. The interior is clean and stylish, adding to its charm. Although it's very popular and often has lines during lunch hours, the relatively large number of seats means that the wait time isn't usually too long. The price range is about 1,200 to 1,300 yen, offering good value for money. The tsukemen (dipping noodles) are particularly well-regarded, and seasonal limited-time menus are also available, allowing you to experience new flavors with each visit. The shrimp miso ramen, with its rich broth, receives high praise from many reviewers. For those looking to enjoy delicious ramen in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, "Menya Miyamoto" is definitely worth a visit. With its extensive menu and high quality, you are sure to be satisfied.
We went to "Menya Miyamoto", located right next to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station on the Tokyo Metro and at the Kiyosumi-Shirakawa intersection, on a Sunday around 1:30 PM. It was a place we had been wanting to try because it always has a line. This day was the Tokyo Marathon, so the area was under traffic restrictions and bustling with activity. At this time, the runners were mostly walking. The restrictions were lifted soon after. Upon entering the restaurant, you purchase tickets from a vending machine on the right side. This day, there was a limited-time offer for a rich chicken and fish broth ramen for ¥1,100 (tax included), so we ordered that. We also purchased a ticket for 5 pieces of gyoza for ¥550 (tax included). Payment was cash only. The interior was bright and clean, with autographed posters from K1 sports athletes. The left side of the restaurant has an L-shaped counter with 9 seats and 3 tables for 4 people. There was an empty seat at the counter near the front, so we sat there. The gyoza arrived about 5 minutes later. They were already seasoned, so we were told to add yuzu pepper to taste. It was nice not having to use gyoza sauce. Oh, and since there were two of us, we got 6 gyoza instead of 5, which was a pleasant surprise! The gyoza were perfectly cooked, with a flavorful filling, and they were delicious. The rich chicken and fish broth ramen arrived about 3 minutes after that. Wow, the ramen had two kinds of seared char siu on top! One was closer to prosciutto because it was cooked sous vide, which was great. There were also finely chopped seaweed, onions, and green onions. The broth was as expected, rich and delicious! It was a little too salty, though. The noodles were firm and the slightly thick broth clung to them, which was delicious. The noodle portions are 150g for regular and 230g for large. We ordered large this time, and it was just the right amount. The price for both regular and large noodles is the same. "Menya Miyamoto" has a bright and clean interior and serves delicious, rich ramen and gyoza. It's highly recommended!
