The food at Li Xiang, a Taiwanese restaurant, was an authentic experience. All the dishes served were true to their origins, and I was particularly impressed by their freshness. The vegetables were crisp and vibrant, a feast for the eyes. The flavors were adjusted to suit Japanese palates, making them easy to eat while still retaining their depth. The braised and stir-fried dishes were especially delicious, leaving me feeling very satisfied. The restaurant's atmosphere was calm and relaxing, allowing me to enjoy my meal. It's a place I'd definitely want to visit again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of Taiwanese cuisine. The dishes are prepared by three skilled chefs who work together quickly and efficiently.
This time, I visited Reikyo to try the "Bar One" that Chihiro's father eats in Spirited Away. This is an authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and its charm lies in its diverse menu and heartwarming atmosphere. First, the quality of the food is impressive, with all dishes made with fresh ingredients and meticulous care. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also charming. With its subdued lighting and traditional Taiwanese decorations, it feels like you're in Taiwan. The staff is also courteous, making you feel at home. Overall, Reikyo is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine. If you're looking for a taste of Taiwan in Shibuya, Tokyo, this is the place to go.
I've been here so many times I can't even count! This place requires reservations for groups of 10 or more. Today, I'm here with just one other person, but since it's the middle of a three-day weekend on a Sunday, we arrived at 4 PM just to be safe. We were able to get a table right away, but it was shared. However, it was a table for about eight people, so it wasn't a problem at all! We ordered clams, sausage, and mapo tofu. It was my first time trying the mapo tofu, and it was spicy and delicious! We also got fried beef noodles and shrimp fried rice. The clams, which I wanted to share, were as delicious as always! I even dipped the fried rice and noodles in the leftover broth, haha. Since there were only two of us, we couldn't order too much and couldn't be too adventurous. I'll have to try more next time!
Utilization: Weekdays Access: Approximately a 4-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the Keio Inokashira Line Opened at 12:00, but was already open at 11:50. Walked right in without waiting! This is a Taiwanese restaurant. There are counter seats and tables inside. Shrimp Fried Rice (Shrimp Fried Rice) ¥1100 Meatball (Ba Wan) ¥715 The Meatball was served in 2-3 minutes. Fast! It was piping hot and jiggly, and the filling was delicious. It made me want to drink alcohol. The sour and spicy sauce was a perfect match. The fried rice was moist. The shrimp flavor and meatiness were luxurious. The seasoning was just right, not too strong and not too bland. The soup was delicious with a strong aroma of ginger and other spices! I want to eat ramen with this. After the meal, take the bill to the register to pay. Reservations are accepted for groups of 10 or more. The register was covered with reservation notes. It would be great to enjoy a lot of dishes with a large group. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!
I revisited this place because I couldn't forget how delicious the food was last time. I arrived at 1 p.m. on a weekday. It seemed like the first rush had passed, as there were empty seats, and I was able to enter without waiting. Success! I managed to avoid the lunch rush. I ordered: ◻︎ Fried Beef Noodles ◻︎ Clams ◻︎ Five-Flavor Fried Noodles ◻︎ Water Dumplings ◻︎ Shaoxing Wine x 2 Shaoxing wine is a must with Chinese food. I ordered it at room temperature with a sugar cube. The fried beef noodles were incredibly delicious! The chopped pork, bean sprouts, chives, dried shrimp, and beef noodles all blended together perfectly. I was going to pour the clam broth over the beef noodles, but I ended up eating them as they were, haha. The popular clams were a bit salty. The five-flavor fried noodles were also delicious with their thick, chewy noodles. The water dumplings at the end were great too. I'll definitely be back!
