A burger joint in Roppongi. It's located within a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The main store in front of Komazawa University is a "Hundred Best Burger" establishment. I went there around 3 pm on a Sunday and there were two groups waiting. I was able to enter the store after about 10 minutes. By the time I left, there were 5 or 6 groups waiting. Today, I had the following: ✔︎ Bacon Cheeseburger (¥1,550) It arrived in a little over 10 minutes. It's the quintessential gourmet burger visually✨. The ingredients include homemade bacon, cheese, beef patty, tomato, onion, lettuce, and more. The sauce is probably BBQ and mayonnaise based. This burger is characterized by its thick buns! It seems to be a unique bun made with sake yeast. It creates a very tall burger. The bacon is delicious, but the patty is truly impressive. It's a 100% beef patty made with no binders, hand-chopped, not minced, and char-grilled✨. Juicy meat juice, the aroma of charcoal, it's truly "eating meat!" The overwhelming taste of meat (*﹃*). This type of burger, where the meat is the star, reminds me of Shogun Burger Shinjuku and this place. ✔︎ Root Beer (¥550) I saw root beer sold at "A&W" when I went to Okinawa on a trip, and I couldn't drink it then, so I thought I'd try it since I was here. (A&W is famous for its orange juice.) It's called "beer" but it's a famous American cola. I was looking forward to trying the root beer... Oh, I don't like it...(^^;; I'm sorry to say this, but it tastes like mouthwash... lol. It has a strong flavor of vanilla extract and nutmeg. It's a sweetness you don't find in Japan. It's kind of like cola. I think it was a very high-level burger. I definitely want to visit this place again! Thank you for the meal(^^)♪
Located within Roppongi Hills, "A.S. Classics Diner Roppongi" is a hamburger joint. Its main branch is in Komazawa, and I was deeply impressed by their burgers when I visited a long time ago. Situated on the basement floor of Roppongi Hills, the restaurant offers a view of the Tokyo Tower. The atmosphere is distinctly American, with oldies playing in the background. However, all the customers seemed to be Japanese, which is surprising considering Roppongi is known for having the largest foreign population in Japan. The menu features gourmet burgers that are now commonly priced in the 2,000 yen range, but they feel relatively affordable overall. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger for 1,550 yen, which comes with homemade bacon, a patty, tomato, grilled onions, and lettuce. The patty is made with coarsely ground meat without any binders, resulting in a juicy and flavorful experience. The bacon's aroma is also delightful. The crisp lettuce is piled high, adding a refreshing touch. The first half of the burger is all about the meaty goodness, while the latter half offers a burst of fresh vegetables. The sauces include mayonnaise, tartar sauce, and BBQ sauce. The subtle acidity enhances the flavor of the meat without overpowering it. The French fries are perfectly fried, with a satisfyingly starchy texture. This burger is meticulously crafted, yet retains the wildness characteristic of American burgers. For 1,550 yen, it's an incredibly attractive option. It was a much more fulfilling lunch than going to McDonald's. Thank you for the meal.
=====MENU===== 〇Classic Burger / Avocado Cheese Burger 〇Price: ¥2,930 / 2 people --- The restaurant is located on the B1F of the Roppongi Hills Hillside. The "Grand Food Hall", which I frequent, is located directly below (B2F). Those familiar with the area will know where it is. I visited on a Saturday evening around 7 pm. The restaurant was about 20% full. It suddenly got crowded afterwards, so it seems like timing is key. I felt like there were a lot of families from the neighborhood and people who had just finished watching a movie. I ordered the popular "Avocado Cheese Burger". It was a beautifully crafted burger, just like you would imagine. It has a simple style, but it shows confidence. The bun was crispy, and the meat was large and juicy. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The total was ¥1,600. Considering the recent price increases and the location, it's a reasonable price. The service was also good. The biggest plus is that you can eat while looking at the Tokyo Tower from seats near the entrance or on the terrace. The last order is at 9 pm, so it's convenient for after work or after a movie. Thank you for the meal.
The potatoes were delicious. The burger was also great, with coarsely ground meat that gave it a real meaty flavor. However, it was a bit pricey, so I felt like the location was probably factored into the cost.
This is a hamburger joint located in Roppongi Hills. The place gets crowded during lunchtime, but they offer takeout, which is recommended if you find it too busy. I ordered the "Bacon Cheeseburger with Avocado." The buns here are toasted to a nice crisp, which pairs perfectly with the juicy meat and cheese. It's incredibly delicious! The price is a bit on the higher side, but the portions are generous. If you're ever in Roppongi Hills, be sure to check it out!
