I visited Legacy, an authentic bar located near Shibuya River. First of all, I love the look of the door. The interior has a straight counter with seven seats and two tables for two. The counter is made of bubinga wood. The grain pattern is unique. Bubinga wood, native to Africa, is currently banned from import, making it a rare and valuable wood. šØ Raspberry Cocktail (Ā„1,800 including tax) The base is Tanqueray 10. This is so delicious! Served in a Baccarat wine glass, Massena. š„ Cover Charge (Ā„600 including tax) Comes with snacks. The owner has a great vibe. He honed his skills at Ginza Bar OPA and Shibuya Bar Ishigaura, and then became independent in this area 10 years ago. I have a new favorite bar in Shibuya.
My wife insisted on going. They have a wide selection of whiskies, from obscure to popular, so I was overwhelmed with choices. The bartender was a friendly and good guy who helped me pick something to my liking. He's a great bartender.
Step through the door and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. A sophisticated Shibuya space where you can nod in agreement. The atmosphere is captivating, drawing you in. That's the image it evokes. The drinks are tailored to different age groups, each with its own unique character. I found myself emphasizing my own youthful spirit. The owner and bartender have impressive careers. The orders were satisfying, hitting the spot perfectly. I appreciated the little touches and the skill on display. Wonderful!! Even if you're alone, the atmosphere is reassuring, allowing you to immerse yourself in fine wine and enjoy. It's a place with charm that makes you want to return. - BAR Legacy -
I called ahead on a weekend night to check for availability and visited. The place is small, with only one table for four. They have a good selection of drinks beyond cocktails, and this time I tried a few different Sassicaia grappas. The master's ability to suggest drinks based on what you're looking for is amazing.
I found this place while searching for a good spot in Shibuya. It's tucked away in a quiet alley, not easy to find unless you know where to look! It's a stylish place, with about three groups of customers, including some foreigners. They seem to specialize in cocktails, with a blackboard listing the day's recommendations. I decided to try one of their fruit cocktails first. It was delicious, unlike anything I've had before! I tried a few other cocktails from their recommendations, and they were all truly flavorful. The drinks are a bit strong, but if you tell them you prefer something lighter, they'll adjust it for you. It's a great place. The manager is very friendly. We were initially seated at a table, but when a counter seat opened up, he quickly cleared it and said, "Would you like to move over here?" Everyone at the bar speaks English perfectly, so it's definitely a good spot to recommend to foreigners. My friend and I are definitely coming back! It was a fantastic experience.
