This cafe, one of the few where you can enjoy chocolate from a French chocolatier, is a treasure I hope will stay open forever. The eclairs are filled with a rich, 70% cacao cream that truly embodies the essence of French pastry. It's small but surprisingly satisfying. The staff, as others have mentioned, is rather indifferent and lacks warmth. The only saving grace is the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. If you can overlook the staff, it's a good cafe.
A parfait-like creation. Seriously delicious. Everything is tasty. I especially love the fruit and salted caramel combination. The acidity of the fruit, the caramel, and the chocolate flavors each stand out, creating a well-balanced taste. Plus, the ice cream is huge, providing an incredible sense of satisfaction. By the way, there's no chocolate ice cream. Instead, there's a chocolate mousse at the bottom of the glass, which is also incredibly delicious and complements the ice cream perfectly, leaving you feeling refreshed. A few years ago, after the renovation, all the new dessert shops in Takashimaya became crowded, but this place is a hidden gem, making it a big plus. And I definitely prefer Pascal. It's been around for a long time, hasn't it? I'm so glad this shop is still here. My photography skills are terrible...
This is a cafe by a chocolatier located in Takashimaya, Nihonbashi. While they do sell chocolates, the cafe itself might be a hidden gem. The coffee is hand-dripped and delicious. They also have a wide selection of chocolate sweets, such as chocolate eclairs, and considering the quality and location, it's a great value for money. Highly recommended!
I visited for morning tea. The chocolate was delicious, of course, but the toast and hot sandwiches were also amazing! I was very satisfied with the generous amount of tea. I will definitely visit again! (^-^)/
This is the only place in Japan that I know of that combines a salon with a chocolaterie. They offer sets that include a tasting of mousse au chocolat and a drink. They've also launched a new brand of chocolates called 'Praline' that are more affordable than their previous offerings.
