This very popular bakery is located a short walk from Roppongi Station. Even on a Sunday morning, the shop was almost full, and there was a line for takeout bread. I wanted to have lunch there, but I didn't have time, so I got takeout instead. ◆ Cool Chocolate ¥420 I was torn between so many choices, but I decided on this one because I hadn't seen it anywhere else. It's a heart-shaped bread, which is so cute! It has generous chunks of chocolate chips, the crunchy texture of macadamia nuts, and the refreshing taste of orange peel, all in perfect balance. The bread is made with basic white bread dough, so it has a simple flavor. It was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely come back for lunch and try it again. (*^_^*)
Sweet and fluffy bread I arrived before 3 pm. It's located on the first floor of the Keyaki-zaka Terrace. The stylish cafe was crowded, but I was able to purchase bread without waiting in line and received kind service. Everything looked delicious, but I chose croissants, cinnamon rolls, and other items. When I got home and took a bite, I couldn't help but smile at how sweet and fluffy it was. It's no doubt popular with the people of Roppongi Hills. I'm impressed by this delicious bakery in the business district. Thank you for the delicious bread.
I went to a popular cafe for morning coffee. The iced coffee was ¥600 for a regular size, and it came with a large straw and was packed with ice, so I finished it in just a few sips. I arrived around 8:15 am, but I was confused about where to sit and the staff didn't greet me, so I wandered around for a while. Even though there were signs, I wish they had spoken to me. I also wasn't sure how to order the bread. There seemed to be a lot of foreigners. It's a popular cafe in Roppongi, and it's definitely photogenic.
I visited for takeout around 11:30 AM on a weekday. There was a wait for both dine-in and takeout. It felt like half the customers were foreigners, and the takeout line was moving slowly. Also, you have to tell the staff your order verbally for takeout, and since it's next to the display case, you have to remember what you ordered or you'll have to go back and check, which is inefficient. (Maybe it was because it was crowded.) You can also get sandwiches for takeout, but when I was there, the person in front of me, a foreigner, ordered one and was told it would take 15 minutes to prepare. They gave them a buzzer like you get at a food court. * Cinnamon Roll: Not overly sweet, it's moist and chewy with its many layers. * Croissant: It looked really hard, but it wasn't that bad. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. * Bean Bread: The chewy dough is packed with sweet beans. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but it was really good. * Pain au Chocolat: The chocolate is layered, and combined with the layers of dough, it's a very well-made pastry.
I visited Morning on August 14, 2024. I was able to secure a seat without waiting. There seemed to be many foreign customers. Before entering, I read a notice that said "Order at the counter first." However, upon entering, I was seated by a staff member before ordering. I wondered if there would be an announcement about how to order, but nothing happened. I went to the counter to order. I chose the "Bakery Set" menu, where you can choose your favorite bread. I forgot the name of the bread while ordering and was running around the store. I thought maybe I could have asked the staff member at the bread corner to order, but I wasn't sure where or who to ask. The female staff member who took my order was very charming and lovely. She recommended the melon float, which looked delicious, but it was 1,200 yen. It was morning, and I wanted coffee. It was my last day in Tokyo, so I decided against it. I hope to try it someday. My companion ordered pancakes. They were well-browned, and the bacon was the same color. After eating, we returned the dishes to the return area next to the pickup counter. It was a comfortable cafe with natural light. 8:30 am - 9:00 am.
