My friend and I went here for tea. I had just seen Barcelona's chocolate on Tanaka Minami's Another Sky, so I was excited! 😂 The "Indebidual" set is ¥1,800 and comes with cake and a drink. You can have unlimited refills of coffee or tea. It's such a great deal! You can choose any cake you like, and I went for the most simple and classic-looking "Shabina." It was so elegant and delicious... I savored every bite. 😂 It was a Saturday, so I made a reservation, but there were a few seats available during cafe time. We stayed for a long time, and I highly recommend it!
A chocolaterie and patisserie located about a 4-minute walk from Omotesando Station. This is the first Japanese branch of a Spanish establishment. While their specialty, the "Shabina" chocolate cake, which was chosen as the world's best, is delicious, I purchased the "Cube Bonbon Mini Bar & Infusion" (¥3,490) this time. ----- 【Cube Bonbon Mini Bar & Infusion (¥3,490)】 The "Mini Bar" consists of bonbons with liquor flavors, while the "Infusion" features bonbons with tea and coffee flavors. The whiskey and rum ganache are classics, but the elegant liqueur aroma that wafts from them is delicious. The sake is interesting. The vibrant sake-flavored ganache pairs well with the bitter chocolate. The Infusion bonbons each have different chocolate shells depending on the flavor. The cappuccino is white chocolate, and the matcha is matcha chocolate. Personally, I enjoyed the coffee, which had a deep, rich flavor. The stylish packaging makes it a great gift. ----- It was a delicious treat.
I went to this cafe because Tanaka Minami said it had the best chocolate cake in the world. I went on a Sunday around 3 pm, and there were only two other groups in the cafe on the second floor, so it was very relaxing. The cake and cafe latte cost a little over 1900 yen, but I was satisfied. It was delicious.
The second-floor cafe bathed in sunlight has a Barcelona or Madrid vibe, making it a must-visit. While their macarons are famous, their savory cookies are truly exceptional. I discovered this place after receiving chocolates for Valentine's Day, and they were delicious.
I had the cake set. It was around 2000 yen for the Shabina and the chocolat chaud (hot chocolate). As described on their website, the Shabina has a distinct spice flavor. Overall, it has a smooth texture and is a well-crafted chocolate cake. (I couldn't find anything to complain about.) The chocolat chaud was quite rich. When I ordered, I thought the chocolate cake and hot chocolate might be too much, but surprisingly, the loop of cake and hot chocolate was really good. (However, my friend who ordered the vanilla and chocolat chaud said it was too sweet and bitter.) Honestly, 1200 yen for just the cake is expensive for someone from the countryside. However, considering the location in Omotesando, the stylish space with a black-themed display case and uniforms that create a sense of luxury, and the impeccable cake, it's a good place to visit.
