If you're hungry, give a 👍 and follow me! 🙏 【Azumabashi Yabu Soba】 ◼️Dish Posted Mori Soba (Medium) A 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station, this is a Tabelog Hundred Famous Stores restaurant. I went around 1:30 PM and there was a line outside! I waited for about 20 minutes. It's a popular restaurant with a line, so I was excited to go inside. The restaurant only has table seating. They said that during busy times, you might have to share a table with others. The menu features soba as the main dish, with tempura and other appetizers. I started with the classic Mori Soba. I was unsure about the portion size, but I chose the medium. Even the medium size filled me up nicely. The thin noodles had a good bite and were well-drained. They were so delicious! Soba is perfect on a hot day. I finished with soba tea. Thank you for the meal. #Soba #Asakusa #AsakusaFood #AsakusaLunch #TokyoFood #Tokyo #AsakusaStation #Gourmet #TabelogHundredFamousStores #YabuSoba

I went there on a Sunday afternoon. I arrived around noon, and it was packed. I waited for about 15 minutes. I had the Mori-soba (cold buckwheat noodles), wasabi potato, and cucumber miso. The soba noodles are thin and have a smooth texture. They go well with the strong-flavored soba broth.

This soba shop ranks among the best in Japan for its delicious soba. The soba itself has a rich aroma that lingers in your mouth even after you finish eating. And the exceptional flavor of the dipping broth is truly remarkable. Combined with freshly grated wasabi, it creates a divine taste that's simply divine. Bravo! I'll be back for sure! Adios!

While it wasn't exactly my personal preference, I have to admit the food was delicious. The soba noodles and the dipping sauce were a perfect match. Even the simple 'kake' style, with its broth and noodles, had a distinct flavor that was equally enjoyable. The atmosphere was also wonderful, making it easy to linger. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the inconvenient location.

Expecting a crowd for Sunday lunch, I arrived a little after 1 p.m., only to find a few groups waiting. It's definitely a popular spot. After a short wait, I was seated and ordered the seiro (cold soba noodles). As mentioned in the reviews, the portion wasn't very large, so I decided to order a second serving of otoshi soba (cold soba with grated radish). The seiro's dipping sauce was quite strong, and the wasabi was spicy. The thin noodles were so delicate they practically melted in my mouth. The otoshi soba came with grated radish, bonito flakes, scallions, seaweed, and sesame seeds on top. I felt like the portion was larger than the seiro. The bonito flakes were crispy, and the grated radish had very little heat. Both soba dishes were delicious, but I preferred the seiro. Freshly cooked noodles are always the best! I ordered both dishes at the same time, but they brought the otoshi soba after I finished the seiro. It was a delicious meal!
