I dined there for dinner. They paired each course with a different wine and provided a detailed explanation of both the food and wine. I enjoyed so many delicious wines and dishes that I was a little apprehensive about the bill, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was very reasonable. I will definitely be back! Thank you!
The best value-for-money lunch in Ginza! 🥰 I went for lunch on a weekday around 12:40 pm ✨ All the tables were full, so I was seated at the counter. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of a building behind GINZA SIX, and it's not very big, so it gets full quickly with about 7 groups of customers. If you don't arrive right when they open, you might have to wait a bit because the first round of customers might still be eating. ☺️ Lunch is a set menu with a generous salad and focaccia ✨ The pasta is a daily special with 3 different options each day. There are probably no fixed menu items, so it's a surprise every day you go 😋 Personally, I'm hoping for a Carbonara day because I really want to try their Carbonara 🫶 I'll definitely be back!!! 🍝
This is my favorite restaurant, and I've been coming here countless times. I usually have lunch here, but this time I enjoyed a leisurely dinner. The prix fixe menu is ¥5,800 (plus a 10% service charge), and I opted to change the default roasted Iwachu pork to roasted Ezo deer. ▼ Course details below - Caprese salad with mozzarella from Yoshida Farm - Today's fresh fish carpaccio - Sautéed sweetbreads and girolles - Bucatini with anchovies, fennel, and tomato sauce - Lemon and basil granita - Roasted Ezo deer inner thigh - Dessert assortment, coffee As a big eater, I was a little worried that it might not be enough, haha, but the appetizers were both cold and warm, and there was a good amount, so I was very satisfied. My favorite was the sautéed sweetbreads (veal thymus, known as 'shibire' in yakiniku), which was absolutely heavenly when eaten with the accompanying celeriac purée. The sauce was exquisite. I couldn't resist ordering a second helping of the homemade bread! It's not often that you find a restaurant that serves bucatini, so it was great to be able to enjoy it here. The chef starts by sautéing the anchovies, and the aroma that filled the restaurant was incredible. The Ezo deer for the main course is leaner in the summer, so it's easy to eat without feeling heavy. The sautéed vegetables were also delicious. It was a wonderful time to spend some time alone and relax. It was the best! Thank you for the delicious meal!
I had the pleasure of dining here with clients one evening. We opted for the ¥6,500 course, which was a well-structured affair featuring a starter salad, a selection of appetizers including fish, pasta, a main course of meat, and dessert. Each dish was exquisitely prepared and truly delicious. The owner, I believe, recommended a white and a red wine from their list, both of which were incredibly impressive. The meticulous sourcing and aging of these wines were evident, showcasing a dedication to quality and a truly remarkable selection. The other patrons were also refined and sophisticated, giving off a distinct air of business success. It was a fascinating glimpse into the current state of the Japanese economy.
I visited for lunch. The A lunch set for ¥1,100 offers pasta, salad, and focaccia, making it a very affordable option. The lunch hours are relatively short, so it's best to arrive right when they open (you can't enter before opening time). The salad is incredibly generous, and the pasta is also packed with ingredients, making it very satisfying. I often find myself unable to finish the pasta after eating all the salad. For ¥1,500, you get a drink and dessert as well. The service is a bit slow, and the male waiter is a bit cold (he's almost completely silent), which is a bit disappointing. However, the food is delicious, so I'll definitely be back.
