Limited-time-only corn bread that you have to wait in line for! I visited the "Aoyama Ginza Mitsukoshi Store" directly connected to Ginza Station. Arriving around 5:30 PM on a weekday, there was a considerable crowd. A few of the limited-time-only corn breads (sold from 5 PM) were left, so I was able to snag one before they sold out. It took a little over 10 minutes to wait in line at the register. The bread has a subtle sweetness, and the sweet corn bursts with a gentle sweetness. The corn bread, baked to a soft and fluffy texture, is delicious. I enjoyed it all the way to the last bite.

Exiting Ginza Station through the ticket gate, enter the underground entrance of Ginza Mitsukoshi and take the escalator right in front of you. The bakery is right next to it. I always see a line, but I don't like waiting in lines, so I've never bought Ginza's chocolate bread. However, I went there today (weekday) around 10:00 am and was able to buy it without waiting in line. This was my first time buying their chocolate bread. Recently, the price of bread has been going up, but this bread is large and has a lot of chocolate in it, yet it's still under 500 yen. The new bread was also delicious. The store is spacious and the aisles are wide, making it easy to choose bread. There are many registers, so even if there is a line, it doesn't take long to pay. The other breads are also delicious, and it's my favorite bakery.

I went to Joël Robuchon's Ginza Mitsukoshi store! It was packed with people. Joël Robuchon is so popular, it was super crowded. I saw Joël Robuchon featured in the travel magazine, Rurubu. I joined the line. Marche de Petit Fours Joël Robuchon sells small pastries by the gram. They're so cute! The Rurubu magazine featured the Petit Four A set, so I decided to buy that. Wait, the B set looks like a good deal too. Oh no! The kouign amann is sold out?! I'm so bummed. After waiting in line, it was finally my turn. "B set please!" "Sorry, it's sold out." Apparently, they forgot to remove the price tag for the set after it sold out. It's understandable, they're super busy. I bought all the other pastries. You can buy them even if it's not in 100-gram increments. I ate them at home. They're small but delicious! The canelé is chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The croissant is flavorful, buttery, and flaky. The fromage is moist. The d'Auphinois has a nice contrast between the crunchy walnuts and the moist dough. The sweetness is just right and it goes well with tea. As expected from Joël Robuchon, it's so delicious. But, since the kouign amann was sold out, I'm giving it one less star. Joël Robuchon's Ginza Mitsukoshi store is super crowded, but it's worth it because it's delicious!

This is my favorite bakery! ❤︎ I usually go in the afternoon on weekdays, and there's always a line (◠‿◠). I love their black sugar bread and chiffon cake, and I always buy them. ❤︎ They have a wide variety of breads, and everything is delicious, so I could go there every day! 😂

Ginza is synonymous with high-end department stores, and among them, Mitsukoshi Ginza is a landmark. Located in the basement level 2 of Ginza Mitsukoshi, Joan Ginza boasts a large storefront. This store is renowned for its densely packed chocolate bread, a true delicacy. However, securing a loaf requires advance planning. They distribute numbered tickets before the official opening time, and you'll need to queue up to obtain one. Recently, even the tickets have been running out, but some people who receive tickets don't actually show up. Therefore, arriving just before the opening time and waiting for cancellations is a viable strategy. Beyond the chocolate bread, their savory breads, especially the cheese-filled ones, are exceptionally delicious and diverse. Additionally, they occasionally feature special breads, which are always a delightful surprise.
