I stopped by the salon on Sunday afternoon because there was an open seat. I had the cake set. It's a fun set where you can try a little bit of each of the shop's cakes. The amount is just right, not too much, which is great.
This is Sadaharu Aoki's shop located inside Midtown in Roppongi. I stopped by after lunch and found a seat at the eat-in area, so I decided to take a short break. I ordered the limited-edition chestnut and fruit tart, a macaron imported directly from Paris, and espresso for my drink. I haven't had Sadaharu Aoki's pastries very often, usually only when I receive them as gifts, but they are truly delicious. The prices are a bit high, but it's perfect for treating yourself.
The showcase display is charming and catches the eye as you pass by. However, the tables and chairs in the cafe showed signs of wear and tear, making me wonder about the cleanliness. The cream puffs were delicious. The service was neither good nor bad.
We decided to have some ice cream at this place in Roppongi Midtown for a sweet treat! ✨ We got the macaron ice cream and the fromage ice cream. 🍨 The fromage ice cream was rich with cheese but had a refreshing lemon flavor! 🍋 It was delicious, not heavy but satisfying. ❣️ The macaron ice cream was chocolate and rose, but the kids devoured it before I could even have a bite, so it must have been good… 😅 We also bought some canelé, but the liqueur wasn't very strong, so it might not be enough for adults, but the kids loved it, so that's good! ✨ Maybe it was because it was chocolate canelé…? (laughs) Next time, I'll try the plain one 😊
It's perfect for a gift. It's located inside Midtown, so it's easily accessible from the station. There aren't many stores, so it's likely to be well-received. The macarons are absolutely delicious.
