I wanted to try the drinking and eating scene in Hoppy Street, so I went there. Every place looked lively and delicious, but I was drawn to the Korean-style beef tendon stew, so I went in. The counter was a bit cramped, but that added to the downtown atmosphere, which was nice. Of course, I had to order Hoppy! They had draft Hoppy, but I went with the classic bottled Hoppy set. 🍺 The tripe and stew were delicious, as recommended by the shop. It's a great place for a daytime drink. 😘 It was just a random place I walked into, but it turned out to be the same place where YouTuber and former AKB member Yukirin (柏木由紀) had been! ♡
We visited this place as our first stop on a Hoppy Street drinking spree. With two people, we were automatically seated at the counter, but the atmosphere was nice. The beef tendon stew was delicious for 700 yen. They claim to have the only draft Hoppy in Asakusa, but it wasn't particularly special. Like many places on Hoppy Street, it's not particularly cheap.
Drawn to the draft Hoppy on a sweltering day, I visited. I ordered draft Hoppy, braised beef tendon, vinegared octopus, and shredded yam. The braised beef tendon was spicy and delicious. The vinegared octopus was refreshing to eat in the heat. The draft Hoppy was also delicious.
