Rich Miso Ramen ¥1,100 Rice ¥150 I discovered a fantastic shop serving rich and flavorful miso ramen on the outskirts of Asakusa. The shop is conveniently located just a short walk from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro/Toei Subway lines. After exiting the station, walk away from the main city area for about 2-3 minutes. I ordered the standard rich miso ramen. While priced at ¥1,100, which is a bit on the higher side, it was definitely worth the price. They also provided excellent service, offering complimentary "Okukuji raw egg" and "miso for flavor variation" one after another, leaving a strong impression of hospitality. The ramen was incredibly delicious, with a rich and mellow broth enhanced by the punch of back fat and ginger. I was also impressed by their thoughtful addition of yuzu to prevent the flavor from becoming too heavy. The broth paired perfectly with the large, thick-cut char siu pork and the fragrant stir-fried vegetables. The broth was so delicious that I ordered rice afterwards. I enjoyed it as a rice bowl with the complimentary raw egg, and also dipped it in the ramen broth. Adding the miso for flavor variation created a mellower taste, offering a different flavor experience. The table was equipped with various seasonings and a slotted spoon, allowing me to fully enjoy the hearty miso ramen without leaving anything behind. It was delicious.
This is one of the top 3 best miso ramen shops I've ever been to. I've always loved Sapporo's Okami Soup the most, but this place is tied for first place. The variety of flavor combinations, the temperature of the soup, the noodles that don't get soggy, the never-boring taste, the free raw egg, the friendly service, and the delicious cafe nearby - everything is perfect. If you go on a weekday, I think arriving a little before opening time should be fine.
A delicious miso ramen that won the miso category in the Ramen TRY New Shop Division! Located a 7-minute walk from Asakusa Station, I visited "Asakusa Jukusei Miso Ramen Noriaki Mimi", which came in 3rd place in the miso category of the Ramen TRY New Shop Division. Arriving around 6:30 PM on a weekday, there was no wait. I was able to enter right away. I ordered the Jukusei Miso Ramen with Ajitama (soft-boiled egg) for 1,250 yen. The vegetables, miso, and char siu are carefully grilled before serving, so it took about 15 minutes. The soup has a fragrant miso flavor, with a rich taste enhanced by back fat and ginger. It's very flavorful and delicious. The curly noodles are cooked to the perfect texture and go well with the miso soup. They're delicious. The char siu is melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a nice grilled aroma. It's definitely delicious. The unique "追い味噌" (extra miso) allows you to change the flavor and enjoy it until the very end. There's a free service of Okujukuji eggs, so you could have added rice and made a TKG (raw egg on rice) too! [Main Menu] - Jukusei Miso Ramen 1,100 yen Ajitama +150 yen, Tokusei +350 yen - Jukusei Spicy Miso Ramen 1,150 yen Ajitama +150 yen, Tokusei +350 yen - Jukusei Miso Tsukemen 1,300 yen
A light miso ramen! (I say this without fear of misinterpretation.) It has back fat and garlic, giving it a definitely rich appearance. However, when you taste it, it's surprisingly light. I felt that the soup was carefully crafted to express a delicate miso flavor. It's also nice that they provide extra miso. The ginger soup broth also suggests that the restaurant wants customers to enjoy a light and refreshing experience.
Visited on October 6, 2024. I was curious about this place after seeing it featured on "Susuru TV." It's a short walk from Asakusa Station. They have a ticket vending machine. The staff provides water. After waiting for a while, the staff will ask if you want to try the Oku-kuji egg. If you say yes, they'll bring it to your table. I ordered the "Aged Miso Ramen Special." The noodles are from Mikawaya Seimen, with a perfect thickness and curl. The soup looks rich, but it's surprisingly easy to drink. The menma (bamboo shoots) are crunchy. The soft-boiled egg is perfectly cooked, with a runny yolk. The char siu (roasted pork) is incredibly delicious, melting in your mouth. It's the best. You can use the Oku-kuji egg to dip the char siu, make a rice bowl with a small order of rice, or add it to the soup for a smoother flavor. You can even separate the white and yolk. It's great. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. There was a line of over 10 people before opening, and even after I finished eating and left, there was still a line of over 10 people. It really solidified my impression that this is a popular restaurant.
