I found this place while looking for somewhere to eat after shopping. It seemed popular, so I waited about 20 minutes! The restaurant was bustling. ------------------------------------ ◎Excellent ◯Good △Okay ・Taste ◯Grilled Fish Set Meal Today's set meal featured mackerel, which was delicious with a bit of fat. The bones were mostly removed, so you could eat it without worry. The rice was a normal portion, but it was quite a lot. ◯Chicken Liver It was a bit chewy, but delicious. ◯Tomato Skewer It was a grilled tomato, but it was soft and the taste of the tomato with the char was a sophisticated flavor. It was easy to eat. △Pickled Radish and Natto Pickled radish, natto, and seaweed. You wrap the pickled radish and natto with the seaweed. However, it was a bit difficult to wrap, so I ate it with the rice from the set meal. The natto was a bit bland even with soy sauce, unlike the commercially available natto with its sauce. ◯Clam Soup It's served as a complimentary dish at the end, and it has a nice clam flavor. ・Service The staff service varied depending on the person. The female staff were very friendly and energetic, which lifted my spirits. The kitchen staff seemed tired and lacked energy, so their casual tone was disappointing. ・Ambiance As it's a typical Japanese pub, it's the kind of place you'd see in a drama. It's lively and the interior is cozy in a good way. It has the feel of a good old-fashioned pub with a touch of modern style. ------------------------------------ Payment is only by PayPay or cash. Tucked away in a back alley, this humble eatery serves up a satisfying lunch of Go-ya Champuru (bitter melon stir-fry) set. The stir-fry is packed with thick, crunchy, freshly-cooked bitter melon. The light, flavorful broth is seasoned with bonito flakes, creating a simple yet delicious taste. The generous portion seems smaller than it is because of the oversized rice bowl next to it. But the classic set menu, complete with miso soup, lotus root simmered in soy sauce, and spinach with sesame dressing, is a welcome sight. Lunch options start at 590 yen, with everything under 1000 yen. Despite being located in Harajuku and Omotesando, popular tourist destinations, this restaurant is frequented solely by locals. The relaxed atmosphere adds to its unique charm. Go-ya Champuru set (860 yen)

The entrance is a bit hard to find. It's a popular place, so I had to wait in line, but it seems they offer an all-you-can-drink option, which might explain why the turnover isn't very fast. The prices are low and the value is good. They have everything from snacks to set meals. I ordered grilled fish, which was piping hot and delicious 😋. It's not really a place you'd want to spend a long time alone.

This is a cozy izakaya with a great atmosphere. I visited during the day and enjoyed their monthly changing set menu. For the price and quantity, it's incredibly affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The food is also surprisingly delicious for the price. A highlight is that it's an izakaya, so even though I was there for lunch, I ended up having a few drinks. They also have a daily changing selection of craft beers and sake, all of which were delicious. While the set menu is a great deal for lunch, I saw many people enjoying drinks during the day, which made me a little envious! I'll definitely be back to try it out at night.

I ordered the fried chicken set for lunch. The lunch menu is generally affordable and the food is very delicious. Rice refills are free, so it's recommended for those who want to eat a lot. The dinner menu also looks delicious, so I definitely want to try it.
