A high-end Japanese restaurant located just a short distance from Ningyocho Station. The rice dishes are particularly exquisite, with the錦糸卵 (kin糸卵) and karasumi rice served as the second course and the final rice dish being absolutely delicious. The rice itself was flavorful, and the cooking was superb. I think it was the most delicious white rice I've ever had at a Japanese restaurant. I ended up having three helpings of the final rice dish.
I've been going to this restaurant since it opened, thanks to a recommendation from Hoshino-san. There are many places that were packed with customers when they first opened, thanks to their master's reputation, but then became empty. This place, however, has remained consistently difficult to get a reservation, which speaks volumes about their skill. Today, I was particularly impressed by the Biwa trout. It was truly amazing. I had five helpings of rice today. My heart and stomach are both full of happiness.
The meal was a truly heartwarming experience. As others have mentioned, it may not be flashy, but the focus on quality ingredients and meticulous preparation is evident. From start to finish, the deliciousness touched my heart and soul. The chef is young, yet I have immense respect for him.
The young chef, who was trained by Mr. Hoshino, is passionate about his craft and serves up delicious dishes. The restaurant operates in two seatings, starting at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. The carefully selected ingredients are meticulously prepared and presented. The chef's warm demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It's conveniently located near Ningyocho Station and is one of my favorite spots.
