A leisurely Saturday morning stroll through Nihonbashi for some shopping. Lunch at "Focacceria la Brianza" inside Nihonbashi Takashimaya. The set salad comes with a generous portion of prosciutto and a fresh green salad. For drinks, they offer alcohol for an additional ¥300, so I enjoyed a draft beer (Heineken) before noon. We shared a large portion of pesto pasta (¥1000 extra for a large portion) with plenty of cheese and basil, a homemade Bolognese with truffle, and a porcini mushroom pizza. The pesto pasta was absolutely delicious! This is a must-try for basil lovers. Sharing the pizza was just the right amount. We finished with panna cotta and cake for dessert, totaling ¥4000 per person. Well, this is Nihonbashi after all. What a delicious panna cotta. They also offer a "Focaccia di Lecco" which is described as a new texture that is neither pizza nor bread. #focaccerialabrianza #nihonbashigourmet #nihonbashilunch #nihonbashidinner #nihonbashitalian #nihonbashitakashimaya #nihonbashitakashimayasc #kuboyuufoodreview #kuboyuu #focaccerialabrianza #nihonbashi #italian

I enjoyed a ¥2,500 lunch course. It was a delightful and fulfilling experience with a selection of dishes including a pre-dinner wine, a generous fresh vegetable salad, prosciutto, zeppole (fried bread) with seaweed, pasta, dessert, and drinks. I chose the bolognese short pasta for my pasta course and tiramisu for dessert. I'd love to try the other options as well.

We had a group lunch on June 30, 2024, to welcome back a friend who had returned from Africa. The food was delicious, and the service was not particularly bad, so we had a pleasant time. The only disappointment was that we were charged a ¥2,000 cancellation fee for one person who couldn't make it last minute. We had booked a table for six, and while one person was missing, it didn't really affect the restaurant, as it was just a table reservation. Moreover, we were told that even if we canceled the day before, we would still have to pay the cancellation fee. This felt a bit greedy. As other reviews have mentioned, this restaurant seems to lack flexibility. It's true that many comments point to a lack of flexibility. I hope they will adopt a more customer-centric approach to their operations. I would have given them five stars, but I'm giving them three.

I made a reservation for the weekday lunch course and went. It was very filling and delicious 😋. Some people couldn't finish their meals though 😅. I want to try the pizza next time. The course includes: ● Sparkling wine or non-alcoholic sparkling wine ● Carefully selected prosciutto ● A large salad ● Appetizer ● Tomato pasta ※ Choose from pasta (daily special pasta, tomato pasta, Bolognese, carbonara) or today's pizza ● Pork (chef's recommended main dish) ● Tiramisu (choose from 3 types) ● Coffee or tea (hot or iced) 🚩 Takashimaya S.C. 6th floor, Nihonbashi 🚃 Direct access from Exit B4 of Tokyo Metro "Nihonbashi Station" #dinner #girlsnight #date #newbuilding #dessert

I've never seen a place with such a wide selection of Shinsei sake before, especially being able to try the Idaten Kyoso Kabushiki Kaisha sake was truly amazing!!! It's a luxurious sake with a 30% rice polishing ratio and a long aging process. ☺️ The smooth texture and elegant acidity paired perfectly with the amberjack carpaccio. ✨ All the food was incredibly generous in portion size, and the staff were all very knowledgeable about sake and incredibly kind, making for a truly satisfying experience. The selection of sake, wine, and whiskey was so extensive that I couldn't even try everything I wanted. 笑 A true delight for any sake lover. I'll definitely be back! «٩(*´ ꒳ `*)۶»
