I was told that if you love meat, you absolutely have to go here, so I went with my gourmet, heavy drinker, and beautiful friend! (*´∇`*) She made the reservation and let me leave everything to her, including the food and wine! Thank you so much!╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ First, I couldn't find the place at all and wandered around! The door had a heavy feel to it and there was no sign, just stylish!(*´ー`*) My two friends were already there and had started on the wine! I had to catch up! (笑) Sea urchin, caviar, white truffle, black truffle, hairy crab, matsutake mushrooms, and so on... What is this?! ∑(゚Д゚) A feast fit for a last supper! There were also additional ingredients that could be ordered! The Mita beef arrived! Wow! It's wrapped in a spiral...(*´-`) Assortment Salmon roe, hairy crab, tuna, shellfish, sea urchin Sautéed abalone Truffle carbonara Mita beef sirloin, fillet White wine, sparkling wine, red wine And so on... I can't remember everything (//∇//) I had quite a bit of alcohol and was overwhelmed by the amazing ingredients! ⁽⁽ ⸜( ˙꒳ ˙ )⸝ ⁾⁾ The ingredients were grilled over Kishu binchotan charcoal, resulting in perfect cooking. The moment I put it in my mouth, the juices seeped out, and it was incredibly delicious! Mita beef! Why is it so delicious?! 。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 The red wine just kept flowing! I'm from Hyogo Prefecture and have had a lot of Mita beef, but this was the best steak I've ever had! It was a happy, delicious, and fun time! Thank you for the meal!
The Ultimate Meat Experience: A Culinary Journey at "Westa" in Nihonbashi The way you cook meat can make a world of difference, right? We're all familiar with grilling on a yakiniku roaster or pan-frying, but there's something truly special about cooking over a kamado (traditional Japanese clay oven). The high heat from all angles creates a perfectly seared exterior while keeping the inside juicy and tender. The smoky aroma of the firewood infuses the meat, creating a truly unforgettable sensory experience. Kamado is king! Kamado Tanjiro! This time, I wanted to enjoy seafood as well, so I opted for the "Kamado Charcoal Grilled Seafood Course." It was a fantastic choice! This course features the highest quality "Sanda Beef" (a purebred Tajima beef breed), along with seasonal seafood and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. I paired my meal with a selection of wines, and the total bill for two came out to a whopping 140,000 yen! It's not often I go to a restaurant this expensive, but it was a truly luxurious experience. I'm motivated to work hard so I can enjoy places like this more often. I'll definitely be back to this amazing restaurant once I've saved up some more money. Kamayaki's steak is cooked to perfection in a stone oven using the finest ingredients. The truffles are huge, and the caviar is a luxurious treat.
This goes far beyond just an afternoon tea! I've dined at Wester several times, but this was my first time trying their afternoon tea. The composition was as follows: ① Scones, clotted cream, blood orange jam, gougères with icing and sour cream filling, caviar ② Beef consommé ③ Cake stand ★Top tier: Two types of matcha and chocolate macarons, caramelized macadamia nuts coated in chocolate, two types of peach and mango fruit jellies ★Middle tier: Three types of cookies with matcha and tea, and chocolate filling, a small parfait with two types of grapes, tonka bean brûlée, chocolate and nut cake, brandy and dried fruit cake ★Bottom tier: Two steak sandwiches, two smoked salmon sandwiches, a hamburger, a shine muscat sandwich, smoked beef ham ④ Cake assortment Chocolate cream puffs, lemon mini tarts, apple and cinnamon tarts ⑤ Green tea and tea sweets ⑥ Unpasteurized milk gelato The quantity and quality were incredibly satisfying! I was surprised by how well the caviar and gougères paired together. It was also amazing with clotted cream and went very well with champagne. It's a shame I forgot to take pictures of the drink menu, but the staff will recommend drinks based on your preferences and the dishes you want to pair them with. As a steakhouse, I trusted the quality of the savory dishes, but what truly surprised me was the deliciousness and variety of the sweets. Each one was not overly sweet, and they were all balanced and delicious no matter what order you ate them in. They paid attention to every aspect of sweetness, acidity, flavor, umami, and texture, making the experience truly enjoyable. The tea was also brewed with meticulous care, unlike what you'd typically find at home, allowing you to savor both the first and second infusions. This was my first time trying it, and the first infusion had a broth-like flavor. Choosing your preferred teaware to enjoy a cup added a special touch. Even if you don't have lunch, you'll be fully satisfied. If you can't finish everything, you can take home anything except the cup desserts! I wanted to enjoy some at home, so I took home the steak sandwich, salmon sandwich, and two of my favorite fruit jellies. When I got home and opened the takeout package, there was a delightful surprise! In addition to that, you can also get a hamburger and curry to take home, so it's great to be able to enjoy delicious food even after you get home. I personally love the service that allows you to extend that dream-like delicious experience a little bit even after you've left. As a side note, when I told the staff how delicious the scones were, they offered to bake me another batch. I was so happy to be able to enjoy them fresh out of the oven again. It's not just the taste, but the thoughtful care they show that makes you feel truly satisfied and happy. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful time.
I dined there for the first time. This time, I had the Mita Beef Premium Meat Extravaganza Special Course. I enjoyed the dishes prepared by a chef who honed his skills in Italian cuisine. The service was excellent, and I was fortunate enough to witness the wood-fired oven in action. The food was well worth the price of the course. I definitely want to go back.
