I'm at the donut shop in Omotesando?

This raw donut shop always has a line. It's not just in Shibuya, but also right by the Omotesando crossing. I saw that there was a shorter line on a sweltering day, so I went to check it out. Sure enough, there wasn't a line! I bought some and ate them nearby. The texture was incredibly fluffy. The sweetness was just right, and the cream was thick and rich. It's no wonder it's so popular. However, it's hard to justify waiting in a long line for it.
I visited around 3 PM on a weekday. There was a line of about 15 people, but the turnover was fast and I was able to purchase within 10 minutes. I ate one on the spot, and it was incredibly delicious! However, it was quite expensive!! Personally, while the cream-filled donuts are undeniably tasty, considering the price of Mister Donut's Angel Cream, the value for money is simply too low. I think it's best to indulge in them occasionally. The fresh French cruller was absolutely delicious and a bit more affordable compared to the cream-filled ones, so I highly recommend it.
This popular donut shop still has long lines. Even in this scorching heat, many people were lined up, but this time I was lucky and there were only 2-3 groups ahead of me, so I quickly joined the queue. The Harajuku store has fewer varieties, but this one offers 10 different choices. An order sheet is given to you while you wait in line, so you can take your time to choose. The plain donut (¥220) is chewy and simply delicious. The matcha green tea French donut (¥360) is a must-try with its perfect combination of matcha and kinako (roasted soybean flour). The lemon white chocolate donut (¥290) is also refreshing and delicious! The prosciutto donut (¥440) is more like a savory bread (savory donut) than a dessert, and it would be great for lunch. It was as delicious as I expected. You can get a box for 4 donuts or more (3 donuts come in a paper bag). Despite the constant stream of customers, all the staff members were bright and friendly. This may seem obvious, but it's not easy to do. The operation was also smooth, and I appreciated that they didn't make customers wait unnecessarily. I'll come back again when the line is shorter.
I happened to walk by around 4:30 PM and there wasn't a long line, so I decided to try it for the first time. When I got the menu, all the items I wanted were sold out. I wasn't really craving anything, but since I was already in line, I bought two of each: pistachio, custard, and cacao. I don't really like donuts that are too sweet with a lot of cream, so I actually wanted the plain and glazed ones... When I tried them, I was surprised by how fluffy the dough was. They were really delicious. As expected, the pistachio and custard had a lot of cream inside, which wasn't my preference. The cacao, which was the simplest, was the most enjoyable. Next time, I want to try the other flavors. But I'm not sure if it's worth waiting in line for.
## Menu * **Prosciutto** ¥475 * **Pistachio** ¥496 * **I'm donut?** ¥237 * **Glazed** ¥259 ## Review **Prosciutto** ¥475 This donut features a distinct saltiness from the Parma prosciutto. You can also taste the olive flavor, and the donut is generously filled with finely chopped olives, adding a nice textural element. It's even better when warmed up! **Pistachio** ¥496 This popular donut is generously filled with pistachio cream. The homemade cream is rich and dense, with a delightful pistachio aroma. It's a truly blissful experience. **I'm donut?** ¥237 / **Glazed** ¥259 These are two classic donuts! They're consistently delicious. I think you can experience the chewy texture of the fresh donuts most directly with these. If you're visiting for the first time, I recommend starting with the I'm donut? The Omotesando store has a fast turnover, so even if there's a line, you should be able to purchase fairly quickly. Thank you for reading!
