The sashimi was generous in portion and delicious. It had a good, rich flavor. The saikyo-yaki (fish marinated in miso) was a bit too sweet for my liking. The simmered dish was tasty. The whale karaage (deep-fried whale) was flavorful and delicious. The onigiri (rice ball) was average.
This is "Aoyuzutorai Toyosu", located on the first floor of Toyosu Foresia Building. I visited on a weekday for a late lunch. They serve delicious seafood set meals and rice bowls.

☆Definitely close to Toyosu Market! Delicious sashimi set meal! ( *˙ω˙*)و (1676th review) I've either gotten older or learned to appreciate the deliciousness of fish, because I find myself craving fish for lunch these days. ( ´_ゝ`) Especially sashimi. (`_>´) There was a tonkatsu shop in the Toyosu area that I'd been wanting to try, but that day I was in the mood for a sashimi set meal. ( 'ω') So I came to the shop I had in mind, but then I saw this sashimi set meal for 1400 yen right in front of it, and my eyes were drawn to it. ( ´_ゝ`) On top of that, it said rice and miso soup were free refills. (`_>´) So I changed directions and went in. =͟͟͞͞ ( ◜°⌑°)◜ There was also a tempura and sashimi combo, but I stuck to my original plan and ordered the sashimi set meal. (´ω` )/ ハイ The sashimi set meal that arrived had about six different kinds of fish, including tuna, sea bream, and salmon. There was also a ponzu-dressed, blanched skin of something, maybe sea bream. The tuna had a crisp texture and a rich, smooth feel. All the sashimi was delicious, whether it was fresh or aged. The rice was also cooked to my liking, firm and chewy.(*´д`*) I got a large refill of rice and was full and satisfied. ( ˘人˘ ) I found a great place to get delicious sashimi set meals in this area. This just adds to the fun of coming to Toyosu. I'll be back!ヽ(`∀´)ノ
I visited Aoyuzutora, a fish market restaurant in Toyosu. Many restaurants are closed for lunch on weekends, but this izakaya (Japanese pub) was open for lunch on Saturday. They have a winter-only special lunch menu. The regular lunch menu is available until 3:00 PM, but the special menu is available until 4:00 PM. I ordered the Hiroshima-produced large oyster fry set for ¥1,500, limited to 15 servings. The scent of grilled silver cod was wafting from the counter, as it seems to be their specialty. The rice didn't look very appetizing at first glance, and it tasted just as it looked. They use Niigata-produced Koshihikari rice, but the quality of the rice, cooking method, and storage conditions can significantly affect the taste. The oysters themselves were fine, but the batter was overcooked and hard. The cabbage was also hard. Perhaps the rice and cabbage were just bad on the day I visited. The oysters were edible, but considering the price, it was a bit underwhelming. With lunch like this, I wouldn't be in a hurry to come back for dinner. The service was energetic and there were no issues.
