It's not cheap at 320 yen for a small one, but it's very delicious. The bread is fluffy and the cream isn't too sweet, it's just right.

I went there at 5 PM on Sunday, but everything except custard, red bean, and chocolate was sold out. The expiration date is 2 days. It costs 230 yen per piece, and it's a bit small for a cream bun, about the size of a dorayaki. Directions: Go through the central ticket gate (1st floor) of Ueno Station, take the elevator to the 14th platform, and go up to the 3rd floor. It's right in front of you. If you don't use the JR line, there is an entrance fee of 140 yen. It's a refrigerated product, but you can also get dry ice.

Melting Cream Bread 6-Piece Set (Custard, Chocolate, Matcha, Azuki, Whipped Cream & Custard, Chestnut) The Ecute Ueno store is located inside the ticket gate, so you need a ticket or entrance ticket to purchase. I love it, but it's in a hard-to-reach location, so I haven't been able to buy it for a while. I finally bought it again recently. The seasonal chestnut flavor has a retro-style package that's very cute. The chestnut flavor itself isn't very strong, to be honest, but it has some diced chestnuts in it, so you can feel the autumn atmosphere. The expiration date is a mix of 2-day and 3-day items, not all the same, so be careful if you're giving it as a gift. If you want them all to have the same expiration date, it's best to ask the staff beforehand. I'll definitely buy it again.

Located inside the ticket gate at Ueno Station, I often buy these treats when I'm going on a trip. Ueno Station is quite large, so those unfamiliar with it might have trouble finding the shop. It's become quite expensive compared to the past, so I can't buy as many as I used to, but they're still delicious. They pair well with coffee ☕️. The soft dough and gentle cream combination are truly unique. The stylish packaging makes it a great choice for a small gift 🙂.

I received this cream bun as a souvenir this time! It's a cream bun that I occasionally see at events or gourmet food markets. It costs a little over 200 yen. The taste is pretty good, the cream isn't too sweet and it's easy to eat! It's bread, but it feels like a dessert!
