In the morning, scones. Tea scones. Grab a scone and hop on the train, heading north on the express. Scone and coffee. A perfect way to wake up. It's great that you can buy this kind of thing at the station. Feeling like an English person this morning. It's a pleasant feeling. The crumbly scone, the aroma of tea fills my nose. Morning has arrived. The chocolate chips are also a nice touch. I love scones.

I saw that their scones were delicious, so I didn't have high expectations when I tried them. But they were actually better than those from a specialty shop! Or rather, they were exactly my taste. The scones were a bit small, but they were reasonably priced and came in sets, which made browsing the display case exciting. They weren't the kind of scones that dry out your mouth, and you could tell they used good ingredients. They were slightly moist, a type of scone that I think Japanese people of all ages would enjoy. The fact that it's located in the station is a big plus! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

This is a shop located in the station that offers a variety of delicious scones. There are many different types of scones, so you can choose and try your favorites. When warmed, the outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy, making them incredibly delicious. For those who have never tried them before, I recommend starting with the plain scone. You can experience the deliciousness of a high-quality scone. The maple scone has a gentle sweetness that is easy to enjoy. The orange and cacao nib scone has a nice orange peel aroma and texture, adding a nice accent. The adult cornet is also great, with plenty of bitter chocolate inside, making it a satisfying treat for chocolate lovers. This shop is located in the Ecute, so it has long operating hours and is convenient for souvenirs. The Ecute in Ueno is a great place to browse and purchase items at your leisure.

I stumbled upon this place while transferring and decided to stop by and buy three scones. Each one had a crispy exterior and a moist interior, though not overly so. The texture was just right, not too dry. The size was perfect, not too big that I would get tired of it halfway through. Plain: It had a subtle sweetness, so it was delicious to eat as is, without jam. Tea: It had a delicate Earl Grey aroma that wasn't overpowering, making it a satisfying flavor. Maple: The nutty texture was nice, but the maple flavor and sweetness were strong, so I would pair it with black coffee or straight tea. I didn't have much time to browse, but they had cute gift boxes and cookies that would make great souvenirs. 2024.3. Weekday. Afternoon

This bakery is located inside JR Ueno Station, even within the ticket gate. This makes it incredibly convenient to grab a bite during a transfer without having to leave the station. It's a wonderful place to find freshly baked bread, even within the ticket gate. When it comes to Kiinyon, their scones are a must-try. Regular scones can be dry and absorb all the moisture in your mouth, but Kiinyon's scones are moist and milky. They're so moist that you can finish them without needing coffee or tea! They completely changed my perception of scones. They offer seasonal breads and scones, which adds to the fun of repeat visits. The spring cherry blossom scones and mugwort scones were both delicious and fragrant.
