A shop located inside the ticket gate at JR Ueno Station. It's perfect for souvenirs, especially when you're going back home to visit family. The Shiretoko donuts are particularly cute and would delight women and children. They are steamed instead of fried, resulting in a fluffy texture and light mouthfeel. It reminded me of sponge cake. The chocolate topping was also sweet and delicious. Definitely recommend it as a souvenir.
Shiretoko Donuts. They have a wide variety of donuts decorated with cute animals. They make great souvenirs, so I always stop by when I'm at Ueno Station. They had a pop-up event at Sendai Station a while back, and I was happy to buy some. They even had Sendai-limited donuts inspired by Date Masamune, which my friend's family loved. I wish they had more stores. I'm happy with Mister Donut, but I prefer to buy Shiretoko Donuts as gifts.
I got adorable souvenirs for my niece and nephew! 😍 #ShiretokoDonuts are always a hit 💖 They're so cute, just looking at them makes me happy! 😄 @siretoco_ueno @kumagoron_siretoco They had a new cat donut, and I was going to take a picture of it first, but it got eaten before I could! 😹 They're not deep-fried, so they're light and everyone finished one easily 😋✨ Lately, I've been having a #donut revival! 🍩♥️ #animalsweets #donutstore #donutshop #donutlover #donutlove #atreueno #recommendedsouvenir #souvenirrecommendation
I received this as a souvenir. It's incredibly cute and made me so happy! However, the taste... unfortunately, it wasn't for me. As others have mentioned, the flavors are all kind of muted and hard to distinguish. It's a shame because it's an assortment with so many different flavors. The texture was chewy and moist, not dry at all, but the aftertaste wasn't good. I wonder what it is... maybe additives? The pumpkin flavor in particular had a lingering medicinal taste that I couldn't stand.
This is a cute donut shop where I occasionally buy donuts to take home. I'm always drawn to the adorable panda-shaped donuts. They originated in Nakashibetsu-cho, Hokkaido, and have a very gentle flavor. Since they aren't fried, they have a texture closer to steamed bread or cake. They're perfect for those who are concerned about oil or for children. There are many different kinds, so you can choose your favorite donuts or buy some that are already beautifully packaged. They're so cute that they make great gifts for yourself or others.
