## Asakusa | Under the Famous Landmark Located beneath the iconic landmark of Asakusa, "TOKYO Sumida River Brewing" offers a casual and convenient spot for a quick beer. With a cash-on-style system, you can easily enjoy a single beer without any fuss. The highlight is their selection of high-quality beers at reasonable prices. The menu also features a variety of food options, including a sausage platter and salads, perfectly complementing the beers. ◇■Exterior■◇ Just a 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station and easily accessible from Honjo-Azumabashi Station, this establishment sits beneath the famous landmark of Asakusa. The spacious terrace in front of the entrance sets the mood for enjoying a beer, and the open and inviting exterior is quite impressive. ◇■Interior & Atmosphere■◇ The interior is open and casual, providing a relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind with a beer in hand. Asakusa attracts many international visitors, creating a vibrant and multicultural space. ◇■Menu Items I Tried■◇ ● Beers - Kolsch Style (Sumida River Brewing (Tokyo)/Kolsch)/750 - Half & Half (Asahi (Tokyo))/650 ● Foods - 6-Kind Sausage Platter/1880 This Kolsch, with its quality, is truly worthy of being a flagship beer for this price. Its floral and refreshing finish makes you want to keep ordering more. The "6-Kind Sausage Platter" was quite a lot for one person, definitely meant for sharing! The six juicy sausages were a perfect match for the beer, making it impossible to stop drinking. ◇■Store Information■◇ Name: TOKYO Sumida River Brewing Address: Asahi Beer Annex 2F, 1-23-36 Azumabashi, Sumida-ku, Tokyo Phone Number: 03-5608-3832 Opening Hours: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM Instagram: @sumiburu
A true-blue beer restaurant near Asakusa Station! Delicious for both lunch and dinner! Their homemade European-style beef stew curry is exquisite! # Location and Restaurant - This beer hall is located a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station, near the Asahi Beer headquarters. It's also about a 5-minute walk from Honjo-Azumabashi Station. - I visited because they offer lunch. # Menu ● Homemade European-style Beef Stew Curry This dish is delicious just from its appearance, with chunks of beef tendon. The roux is well-balanced with depth, richness, and intensity. It comes with a salad and soup, making it a well-balanced lunch. ● Iced Coffee The bitterness is strong, with a crisp flavor that's typical of iced coffee. It's perfect for cleansing your palate after lunch. The generous portion allows you to savor your lunch break. # Additional Notes - At night, it operates as a beer bar, offering craft beers like Sumida River Brewing. - On weekdays, it's frequented by nearby business people. Therefore, it might be less crowded on weekends than weekdays. - They also have other lunch menu items like soy milk tomato curry, which I'd like to try next time I'm in the area. Thank you for the delicious meal!
I had been wanting to visit this craft beer pub, located right next to the Asahi Beer headquarters. I finally got to go during Golden Week. It's only a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station, and it's easy to get to because there are fewer tourists once you cross Azuma Bridge. You can enjoy a craft beer tasting, and of course, Super Dry too. The food is all perfectly paired with beer, and it's delicious. It comes out quickly, so I was very satisfied. There were families with children, groups of people, etc., and the atmosphere was more lively and bustling than relaxed. It was so good that I want to go back again. 👍
I enjoyed the unique craft beers. Since I didn't make a reservation, I was seated on the terrace. However, orders are rarely taken outside, so I think it's worth considering how to order. The drinks and food were delicious.
This is a place where you can enjoy craft beer, located right beneath the Asahi Beer headquarters. I visited around noon on a weekday and was immediately seated. As a beer lover, I was thrilled to be able to try so many different kinds. The food was also delicious and paired perfectly with the beer. There are still some beers I haven't tried, so I'll definitely be back for another round!
