I used to subscribe to the Dalloyau macaron subscription service. For ¥1000 a month, you get one macaron every day. (However, the macarons around Valentine's Day are given on different days.) Since macarons usually cost around ¥300 each, I think it's a great deal. I usually choose classic flavors like pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry, but since you get 30 macarons, you can try flavors you wouldn't normally buy. This subscription is highly recommended. Initially, there were only a few participating stores, but it seems like they've been increasing in number every year. I remember this store was one of the original participants. Participating stores: Jiyugaoka Main Store, Ginza Mitsukoshi Store, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Store, Atre Meguro Store, Atre Urawa Store, Atre Kichijoji Store, Lumine Ogikubo Store, ecute Akabane Store, Aoba-dai Tokyu Food Show Store, Lumine Kita-Senju, Tobu Funabashi Store, Odakyu Machida Store, ecute Shinagawa Store, Tobu Ikebukuro Store, ecute Tachikawa Store, Marui Kinshicho Store, Daimaru Tokyo Store, Nakano Marui Store, ecute Omiya Store, Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. Store, ecute Ueno Store

I purchased the Weekend Citron cake. The butter has a perfect richness, and the cake is lighter than it appears. I think it's a good choice as a dessert after a light meal because it's not too heavy. By the way, the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi store doesn't carry many cakes, and they didn't have this one. So, be aware if you're planning to buy it there.

The cakes are cute, so I used to buy them occasionally, but they're a bit too sweet. By the time I finish one, I'm already getting tired of it.

I absolutely love the macarons here. I also tried the meat pie on a whim, and it was incredibly delicious! It's a shame that the Ginza street-level store and the Haneda Airport location have closed, but I'll definitely be back.
