When I searched for Chinese restaurants in Toyosu, this Yongli came up three times. It must be a classic Chinese restaurant in Toyosu. The daily set menu is 950 yen, and although it says 'Yu-rin-chi' (a type of fried chicken), it was actually a delicious fried chicken. The flavorful soup is also refillable. The person next to me was eating a yakisoba that looked incredibly large. It's a Chinese-style Chinese restaurant, but I highly recommend it.
Solo dinner. I crave their mapo tofu regularly. The mapo tofu rice bowl is a steal at ¥1,000. I'd love to try other dishes, but the portions are quite large, making it difficult to finish alone. It seems like they have a lot of spicy options. The restaurant is always bustling with customers.
I was craving Chinese food, so I went to this place that was recommended to me! I ordered sweet and sour pork. It came with mapo tofu and almond jelly, and the rice was piled high - amazing! The portion of rice was a bit much for me, being a woman. It was great to have some Chinese food after a long time. It came out quickly after I ordered, and I definitely want to go back!
This popular restaurant has three locations in Toyosu. It was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious each dish was. However, many of the dishes are spicy. I ordered a large portion of fried rice, which was very satisfying. I drank a lot of alcohol, so the bill was quite high, but I was still satisfied.
I had lunch here on Thursday, December 14, 2023, a little after 11:30 am. This Chinese restaurant is located right next to Toyosu Station, connected directly from the Yurakucho Line's 1b exit. The clientele is distinctly Chinese, not Japanese, and the overall atmosphere is quite chaotic, which makes it interesting in its own way. I ordered the daily special, which was stir-fried beef with chives on Thursday, for 880 yen. It seemed like it was pre-made and came out incredibly fast. While I wouldn't call it delicious, it wasn't bad either, and it definitely went well with the rice. It felt like the kind of food that would be considered 'fodder' or an 'energy boost' for salarymen. The rice comes with a large portion and refills are free. When they threw the extra large portion of rice onto the table, I almost laughed out loud because it was so funny. The service is part of the entertainment, and they pack you in with other customers, but if you don't mind that, it's a good deal. This place isn't ideal if you want to enjoy a leisurely meal.
